还记得第一次看到瑞恩的剧是《花样人间》当时还不认识她，看到最后才发现主角原来是咏咏，后来看了下演职员表，发现这个女孩叫“瑞恩”，后来百度了下发现她演了电视剧叫《我在你左右》，又看了这部剧，然后慢慢就熟悉了这女生，再后来就养成了每学期都看一两部瑞恩的电视剧。

还记得 Toggle app 大陆有时看不了，未置可否的还买了会员尝试，就为了看《志在四方2》。再到后来才发现她是口中的“冰公主”不拍亲热戏，红星穿着不显露，很喜欢这样的性格，也就是这样更加喜欢她自然的演技啦。南大的学霸有着不一样的脱俗。

The Road Not Taken

Yes, this is the very poem which inspired our club’s slogan – “Traversing The Road Less Traveled, Lux Veritas”.

I especially like the last sentence, “And that has made all the difference.”

Indeed.

We all started as individuals,
Each of us beginning this journey alone,
No one knew what we were in for,
But along the way,
We found each other,
Walking together,
Watching each other’s back,
Willing to just be here,
We chose to stay and continue as a team,
And that has made all the difference.

Sometimes, it’s not so much about what we can do for each other now. It’s not so much about what you used to do, the past versus now.

It’s about getting drenched by rain, and remembering how we rather chat in the cold, under the stars than have a hot shower after our water fight;
It’s eating a cake and remembering how we started spooning because it doesn’t come with a knife;
It’s passing by some ulu ulu places, recalling that we were there with RBKD, with mosquito bites all over;
It’s having sore throat together after SA, but still going for Roti Prata / McDonald’s supper, and Korean BBQ a week later;
It’s taking wefies and recalling how someone will always say, “自己找角度”;
It’s having someone who understands,
our smiles, our tears, our struggles, our persistence;
It’s having someone who is willing to walk alongside you, all these years;
It’s these and so much more.

Been there, done that, with RBKD.

9 years is an understatement of our journey and experience, but step by step, it’s a testimony made possible only because we have each other.

If we could sum up our 9th year in 9 posts, this would be it.

"为什么瑞恩在星光大道走来走去?" 🤔 今年的星光大道有别以往，有绚丽的室内走道和气派的户外'红'地毯。 . 很幸运的，#RBKD 不管是室内、还是室外，都有机会为 #RuiEn 打气。因室内回音重，所以我们的大分贝呐喊吓到了Aden小朋友，还真过意不去。😅 . 大会也为我们准备了比颁奖礼门票还多出3倍的星光大道门票，让更多粉丝能一起支持#RuiEn。**尖叫声!!** 只是需要分成3组，不能在一起。。。😭😭😭😭😭 . 但是，只要同心，#ONERBKD will still be #ONERBKD. . #RuiEn 和我们的“红色气球组” 打完招呼后，因为角度问题，找不到我们的“粉红气球组”，所以差点儿走出红地毯去寻找我们了。😅 . 看到这个画面还真有些不好意思，但知道发生什么事的我们其实是觉得既好笑又好有爱哦。😂😂😂😘😘😘 . 结果你们就看到#RuiEn 走来走去的画面，也因此而错过了让大家在电视上看到#RuiEn 捧过我们那束99朵玫瑰花的画面。还好我们自己有拍照。😄 . 故事有点长，但是最美的时光记录一下，以后可以回味。谢谢大家阅读啦。 . 8 years. Who would have imagined that?

Looking back, what have we all learnt and gained from RBKD?

The truth is, without RBKD, most of us would never ever have joined a fan club.

Life would have been very different.

But this year, I’m especially thankful to RBKD for granting me the legitimacy to be there for her.

To cheer, to show love, concern, support and faith. To just be able to do something for her and be there for her. It’s a gift. I firmly believe so.

Hard knocks are meant to uncover the precious diamond hidden in the rock. You don’t see people knocking marshmallows, do you?

But believe me. When the diamond has been revealed and cut, there will be hard knocks no more.

So dear RBKD and the humans in here,
I wish for the diamond to shine and for our love to last,
For the one to always be loved and for us to grow in wisdom, courage, strength and unity, as friends and team mates.

May the ship continue to set sail, towards bigger dreams and be protected by light and truth, trust and love.

Continue to dream, continue to give, continue to love.

Happy birthday RBKD!

Personally, I find it so amazing that we are celebrating our 8th birthday already. RBKD, thank you for being the gravity to always holding me here in this world of fandom.
