6 facts about weareone: our sixth chapter
#1: This is the 1st time ever that we video-called members from overseas during the cake cutting session!
#2: It’s the 2nd year that we are having a “round-the-table-dinner”! Well it basically means that we all gather around a big table with lots of yummy food in the middle hehe.
#3: 3 members came down extra early to decorate the place with their self-made deco! (kudos Jasmine, Zhiqing and Yunxian you girls did a great job!)
#4: Well, initially we intended to use 4 steamboats for the night but due to multiple power trips we ended up only using 2 out of 4 haha!
#5: Did you know this is the 5th time that we are dressed in COLORS for the celebration?
#6: Last but not least, this is the 6th year that we are celebrating weareone together as oneRBKD.
I think every weareone celebration is special in its own way and this year’s is no exception. Thank you everyone for making 15 November every year extra meaningful.
It’s been a great year, here’s to a greater year ahead together as oneRBKD!

It’s the time of the year again! Time flies by in a breeze and RBKD is already celebrating our 6th anniversary. As again, it was really more of the company rather then the food. It felt more like a heartwarming homecoming dinner.
Being able to part of RBKD for these past 4 years has been a great experience. Without a doubt, RBKD has sure grown to be stronger and wiser throughout the years. It is such a joy to be able to be part of this celebration. :)

This year’s weareone celebrations were particularly memorable for me, because I was able to ‘attend’ the gathering even though I wasn’t in Singapore.
We had our very own mini-gathering in Leeds, UK, concurrently while everyone else back in Singapore was enjoying their steamboat dinner. We had a great time catching up over lunch home-cooked by Lydia – the chicken rice we had was probably good enough to rival the food everyone was enjoying back home :P
We managed to video-call everyone back in Singapore and witness the cake cutting session, as well as RBKD’s traditional never-ending-ear-popping yum seng. It was also great seeing other overseas members from Australia and China on screen (videoception haha).
Really thankful to have been part of this year’s celebrations, and I had a great time meeting up with fellow RBKD members. Seeing all the familiar faces that day definitely made the long train rides all worth it :)
