What: 共和國 United States Album First Autograph Session

Where: Bookfest@Singapore 2009, Suntec Convention Halls

It was a last minute decision for myself to head down to Suntec 2 days before my exams. But for many others, they had been anticipating this since 6 years back.

The most memorable part of this autograph session had to be our decision to 穿反 our shirt, that is to wear it inside out. “You must be mad!” Yes I think we are mad.

It was definitely awkward initially, kind souls politely informed us that we were wearing our shirts inside out. So imagine the look on their faces when we replied, “Yep, we did it deliberately because Rui En has this song titled – 穿反”. Were we amused? Maybe.

And did I mention how we went round distributing red ribbons for AIDS awareness, made on our own accord? (Details).

The day ended with a frantic chase to the backstage and of course, a hurried group photo as always :)

“除了歌曲以外hor, 还留下了很深的印象是因为那天我去主持她的那个专辑的发布会的时候, 就是有个签名会的时候呢, 现场有很多她的歌迷, 然后有一群人呢, 他们真的把衣服穿反leh. 穿反你知道是什么意思吗? 就是衣服的, 衣服的里面跟外面是倒反的. 那平时我们脱衣之后不是会反过来吗? 对. 他们就这样穿, 所以他的Label是在后边的. 你可以看到他的衣服的Label是在后面的. 她的一群听歌迷都穿反了衣服, 让我的印象很深刻. 然后我就想, 哇有那么一群支持她的歌迷她真的真的很幸福哦.”
