Zi Lei, Secondary One:
The study group is the first IPC that I’ve attended, and also, the first time I’ve met with some of the members of RBKD. I decided to join this IPC because I thought it was a good way to start knowing them.
It actually took me quite a while to decide whether to go because I didn’t know what I was going to say to them, because they were strangers to me after all.
Rather awkward, but when I requested for help on my math homework, they really tried to explain it to me. Some of them also greeted me warmly when they saw that I was new there.
My mum didn’t believe that I’d study in that ‘Subway environment’, but in fact I focussed quite well because all of them were studying hard and I can’t possibly start talking to them and distract them yeah.
And so, I’m glad that it’s organised as part of the IPC events :)

Kahyin, Secondary Three:
The first IPC that I had attended was the weekly study group. Because I am a person who is very difficult to concentrate at home, having this study group is a good way for me to study, even though I also could not really concentrate there as I will start chit-chatting. But it was still useful as I can clear my doubts on any questions that I do not understand from those “tutors”. I hope the study group will start once again.

Peifang, peer-tutor:
I have always found it awkward meeting people for the first time. Through study group, I had the opportunity to know other members and interact with them.
Besides, it allowed me to share my knowledge of certain subjects with the juniors. It is fun as we all learnt together. Everyone was focused during the session and we achieved our goals at the end of the day. :)
