Filming has wrapped and I have just 2-3 weeks break before starting the new show. Right now I’m wound so tightly and have no idea how to unwind my mind.

Next year will be the year I learn how to pace myself. And how to Just. Breathe. (BTW some of the info you guys got about next yr is not right)

Japanese film Confessions was amazing. I’m so proud that Asian cinema is starting to catch up and even surpass Hollywood.

BTW, for my birthday next year, I’m serious about not wanting a single gift or card. Instead, I would rather you make those things or put that effort into volunteering even if it’s for one day. How happy would those things make a lonely child?

And, yes indeed, he is still the object of my obsession

A Flashback: BookFest@Singapore 2006 – 2009

2008

2008 being a challenging year for us all, the focus of BookFest@Singapore 2008 was on achieving success through an upgrading of skills. At the fair, POPULAR Chairman Mr. Chou Cheng Ngok expressed this sentiment when he said, “When times are good, we read for leisure and enjoyment; when times are challenging, we read for solutions. Books are not luxury products. They are out life.”

The stage also promoted local authors including the launch of Heirloom Recipes, a joint collaboration between Popular and MediaCorp News, while the crowds cheered on our very own JJ Lin and Rui En.

精彩回顾： 新加坡海外华文书市 （2006年至2009年）

2008年是个充满挑战的一年，而第三届海外华文书市的重点在于提升技能以取得成功。大众集团主席周曾锷先生在书市的开幕仪式上致辞时也阐明了这一点。他说：“世道好的时候，我们把阅读当成休闲和享受，当遇上充满挑战的时刻，我们以阅读来寻找解决方案。书不是奢侈品。他们是我们的生命。”

We heard our 2 Princesses Joanne Peh and Rui En would be filming together for one of the scenes in the upcoming romantic drama “A Tale Of 2 Cities” so we rushed down to the set to gatecrash the “party”!

Check out Rui En’s sparkly pink gel nails! So not Rui En right? But we think she looked fab!

In reel life, Rui En still didn’t quite buy Yao Dong’s honeyed words…

Filming for “A Tale of 2 Cities” is slated to end end of next week and will air on Valentine’s Day next year on Channel 8.
