本报记者洪铭铧与本月20日在《为本地剧把脉开方》一文，从创作与制作，省钱和竞争，演员与人事结构四方面探讨本地剧到底出了什么问题，本地剧是否越来越难以保持竞争等问题，新传媒昨天来函作出数点澄清，全文照刊如下：

8频道作为大众娱乐频道，在传播内容上扮演着兼具娱乐大众与教育观众的角色，为范围广大的观众群提供服务。

戏剧中的对白必须反映故事中人物的生活形态，如以青少年为主的《边缘父子》，剧中少年主角的对白，就是时下年轻人的写照。

在今年的2011年中国国际影视节目展，中国国际电视总公司也向新传媒购买了高达141小时的本地剧，这包括了《麻婆斗妇》、《乐在双城》、《阿娣》、《甘榜情》和《星洲之夜》等。

有关艺人培训方面，我们也配合了艺人的档期为他们提供课程，传授作为专业艺人必须具备的各种基本知识与技能，让他们在技艺上有更全方位的提升。授课教练都是来自中港台与本地演艺圈的专业领域，如艺人夏雨与郭亮等。

另外，我们也邀请海内外的资深戏剧创作同仁，为新传媒的编剧与故事人开班授课，也会在近期落实与亚洲顶尖学院的创作交流与分享计划。

新传媒作为本地民众最主要的娱乐管道，我们会不断自我鞭策，希望在节目上能日益精进，努力去制作更好的节目来回馈观众。今天的观众不乏娱乐选择，8频道的戏剧能持续领先众多娱乐平台，取得的可观收视 是观众给予我们的肯定。9点档本地剧今年推出更多题材新颖的剧种，播出至今（尚有写实剧《行医》与年终歌舞重头剧《星洲之夜》未播）就已平均吸引87万名观众，比去年的平均85万9000名观众还要高。

《警徽天职》、《乐在双城》与《四个门牌一个梦》都突破90万观众大关，比去年的两部剧《我在你左右》与《红白喜事》还多。在网上xinmsn收看9点档本地剧就有播放次数突破百万纪录的《边缘父子》与《警徽天职》，深受年轻人喜爱的《边缘父子》更有超过130万的纪录。

8频道的戏剧必须能吸引“普罗大众”，在考虑观众喜好的当儿，也希望能让观众有多样化的选择。为欢庆明年“戏剧情牵30周年”，8频道也将推出一系列的戏剧如悬疑剧《最火搭档2》、校园剧《我等你》、民防剧《995》、职业男女剧《再见单人床》；众星云集的60年代娱乐圈重头剧《花样人间》，以及有关先辈南来新加坡的《唐山到南洋》年终大制作。

健康出问题?患有失眠症?陈莉萍消失荧光幕半年！

被问健康，这名低调阿姐说：“有段时期，我经常失眠……”

《边缘父子》收视破百万，据圈内消息，《边》剧“黑老大”一角原属意陈莉萍，后辗转落在阿姐范文芳手上。

健康不好 辞演《边缘》？

有关角色更换，坊间传出的版本有二，1.陈莉萍抗拒演出“黑帮情妇”角色，因要一女周旋数男，她觉得角色牵强，演来吃力不讨好；2.健康亮红灯，陈莉萍不得不辞演。

究竟是怎么一回事?

难得联络上陈莉萍，她坦言确实“休息”了一段时间，最近才“复工”，随节目组飞云南拍《小村大任务》，又与钟琴携手拍《HDB太太》，年底有望接拍《最火拍档2》。

但陈莉萍似乎在荧幕上“人间蒸发”了一段颇长时间……

她想了想，承认：“好像也差不多要半年……”

当初为何辞演《边缘父子》，是嫌弃角色？还是健康出了状况?

陈莉萍反驳“辞演”说，她坦承当初也去剧组开过会，《边缘》是她心目中的Dream Team（梦幻组合），辞演？怎么可能？她解释：“这样的卡士（李南星、瑞恩……）我还嫌弃什么？再说，公司也不允许艺人这个不演、那个不演。”

出国拍摄，陈莉萍“晕车”10小时！

但即使晕车问题严重，陈莉萍也丝毫没有怨言。

陈莉萍拍《最火拍档》与瑞恩合作愉快，谈到前阵子发生在瑞恩身上的是非，她说：“这是树大招风，话题被放大，要接触，才看得到瑞恩的专业。”

2008年半年，新传媒7点档和9点档出现七公主“再循环”，接力演的情况，可谓“7公主全盛期”。但随着谢宛谕在2009年辞演超级大戏《当我们同在一起》后，随即引起一发不可收拾的公主出走风，走了姚懿珊、陈靓瑄和刘子绚，仅留下“公主”欧萱、瑞恩和白薇秀“留守电视山”。

预览2012年上半年的6部9点档电视剧的女主角，欧萱、瑞恩和白薇秀就占了5部，当家花旦的宝座，非她们莫属。

新传媒高层陈国明认为，“现代的花旦虽没有要求有‘一笑江山覆’的本事，但无论在姿色、气质或才情方面，她们都是出类拔萃，举手投足间都是夺目的风华”，要能成为一部剧里的注目焦点。

他说：“我觉得欧萱就是姿色代表香香公主（《书剑恩仇录》）、瑞恩是气质代表任盈盈（《笑傲江湖》），还有白薇秀的就是才情代表黄蓉（《射雕英雄传》）。”

若以人气指数、收视保证、受捧程度以、曝光及产量来评定“花旦”，三女其实不遑相让。然而，若以参与超级大制作的次数来看，今年“消失”本地电视的欧萱却独占鳌头。

反观，瑞恩与重头剧无缘，但过去两年已奠定收视女王的地位，小刀锯大树杀出血路。紧握收视王牌的她当然是“最后收视保证”的花旦。

周颖 郭惠雯 等待时机？

2008年到2011年的4部超级大制作中（《小》、《当》、《破》、《星》），周颖和郭惠雯其实都各参与两部，借由备受关注的重头剧增加人气和观众缘。

但，2012年上半年的6部9点档电视剧中，周颖和郭惠雯仍无法独当一面。三大花旦中，欧萱将出演《995》和《我爱狐狸精》，瑞恩有《最火搭档2》和《花样人间》各包两部，白薇秀则确定参与《再见单人床》，2012年想必仍是三大花旦的年。

不过，新传媒高层陈国明受询认为，周颖和蔡琦慧游走花旦边缘，只要碰到好作品，就有机会上位。周颖明年将演出《最》2，蔡琦慧则将与瑞恩齐名，以女主角身份演出7点档《正义武馆》。

Comedy, drama, or action series, the drama addicts at xinmsn list down sequels and spinoffs of TV series we’ll love to watch!

As fellow TV addicts, we lamented at a list of never-ending possibilities to shows like Little Nyonya, The Family Court, and Unriddle. And because we’re such astute couch potatoes and suckers for well-written, logical and relevant TV shows today, you can’t blame us for wanting more.

And while it may seem like we’re milking them for all it’s worth, we know you feel the same way too!

Unriddle

Action, a dash of suspense, thriller, and the addition of tough cookie cop babe Rui En (Xiao Man), explained for the series’ good reception during its run last year. Human-trafficking, kidnapping, murder, psychics, and family secrets – the show’s got it all. The series went with a bang, ended on a high and concluded its main story arc. That’s not just it, a hint of suspense and new unresolved riddles at the end hinted at a sequel investigative series for Xiao Man and gang, hurrah! Production for Unriddle 2 will begin in late 2011 so expect to see it on the gogglebox in 2012.

PSST: We heard that the old cast will come together again for more mystery-solving actions with new additions like Elvin Ng, Yuan Shuai and Adam Chen. In specific, Elvin’s character will be giving Xiao Man a run for her detective skills as her arch-enemy. Sounds exciting? We can’t wait too!

MediaCorp Channel 8 revealed Thursday on their official blog that a sequel to the police thriller “Unriddle”, one of the channel’s top rated dramas of 2010, will air in March next year as part of Channel 8’s 2012 drama line-up.

Some members of the original cast, like Rui En, Chen Li Ping and Tay Ping Hui will return in “Unriddle 2”.

The drama will also feature some fresh faces like Elvin Ng, Romeo Tan and Zhou Ying.

Star-studded commemorative drama

Apart from other titles like the comedy “Double Bonus” which stars Zoe Tay and Joanne Peh’s “Pillow Talk”, a drama dealing with marriage issues, Channel 8’s 2012 lineup also features a massive star-studded drama to commemorate 30 years of Channel 8 drama productions.

The drama, titled “Joys of Life”, is touted as containing “more stars than you can ever count” and is scheduled to air in June.

Chew Chor Meng, Rui En along with a mystery Taiwan idol will star in the show, which will also feature a host of past and present celebrities as well as some aspiring stars.

“Joys of Life” will bring audiences on a journey to 60s and 70s, to experience what life was like when mobile getais were all the rage and when societal norms and values were very different from what they are today.

March: RuiVin Fans, Your Wishes Are Answered In “Unriddle 2”!

June: More Stars Than You Can Ever Count In “Joys of Life”!

Mobile performances were famous back in the 60s and 70s Singapore famous which helped groomed many local singers. Back then, visiting the cinemas were a favorite past time for many. Besides foreign films, one could enjoy local Malay and dialect films. In 1963, black and white televisions were introduced into homes which completely changed people’s viewing habits and lifestyles. The 80s and 90s saw yet another breakthrough in the local entertainment scene. Mobile Getais picked up and so did the popularity of radio. These two important eras can be considered the fruits of labour sowed from the seeds planted in the 50s and 60s. The 60s was an era where values such as friendship and loyalty mattered most. It was unforgettable how people went out of their way to help one another. Unfortunately, as the era faded, so did people’s values…

“Joys of Life” takes on the nostalgic feel of the 60s and 70s, and reveals the secrets behind the glitz and glamour of the entertainment scene. Baby boomers will be delighted to see familiar faces as “Sakura” and “Ling Yun”, “Wang Sha” and “Ye Feng”, “Zhuang Xue Fang”, “Huang Qing Yuan” on screen, reigniting their memories of the past. Artistes who starred in the previous dramas “Wok of Life” and “Springs of Life” will also take on significant roles in “Joys of Life”, together with MediaCorp’s veteran, established and aspiring artistes. The production team also hopes to invite former artistes back onscreen as guest stars in this drama in this mega 30th drama anniversary blockbuster drama.

The main cast includes Chew Chor Meng who returns onscreen as a movie poster illustrator cum storyteller, Rui En as “Mulan” and we heard that the production team intends to invite a popular idol from Taiwan to be cast as the wacky male lead. “Joys of Life” also include Chen Li Ping, Zheng Ge Ping, Yvonne Lim, Zhang Yao Dong, Romeo Tan, Huang Wen Yong, Lin Mei Jiao, Andie Chen, Kate Pang, Yao Wen Long, Pan Ling Ling, Patricia Mok, etc to commemorate 30 years of drama celebrations on Channel 8!

6月：花样人间 《戏剧情牵30重头剧》

60、70年代的新加坡，游艺场歌台行业最热门，造就了许多本土艺人；到电影院观赏电影是国人最爱的视听娱乐，除了外国电影，也可看到独具本土色彩的马来片、厦语片等；1963年黑白电视走入家庭，改变了人们的作息习惯；从讲古人到广播的广为传唱，也风靡了不少听众。到了8、90年代，本地电视和电影业发展到另一个新起点；七月流动歌台、广播更是再上一层楼。这两个大时代可以说说娱乐文化的分水岭，也可以说5、60年代播下的娱乐种子，得以在今日开花结果…… 此外，60年代也是个充满真善美的淳朴年代，老师打了学生，家长亲自上门道谢，送鸡蛋送蔬菜；浓浓的人情味，一家子有事，左邻右舍一呼百应帮忙。但隋着时代变迁，很多不适宜的东西被淘汰了，许多优良美德也跟着消失，譬如邻居之间的凝聚精神、尊师重道、对父母长辈的孝顺、朋友间的情义、对爱情的不舍不弃。这些都值得人们去深思、去探讨……

故事话你知：《最火搭档》延续篇，小曼（瑞恩饰）与大包（陈莉萍饰）继续面临离奇耸动案件，向云、周颖及离巢搞环保生意的洪赐健再次出马，而上一系列才出现7集的郑斌辉这次更“苦命”，将惨遭神秘人谋杀。以小曼为首的重案组也来了黄俊雄、袁帅与詹金泉等新成员。

视后很认真：据说瑞恩非常紧张此剧，虽人在马国拍片却时常与编剧沟通分享意见，自觉第一系列动作戏太少的她也提议增加打戏。此剧另一看点是《正义武馆》后再次结缘的瑞恩与黄俊雄，荧幕最佳情侣这次一反常态成为斗智斗力的“命中宿敌”。

6月 《花样人间》

故事话你知： 戏剧情牵30年重头剧，继《福满人间》与《春到人间》后再度重现热热闹闹群体戏。故事反映六七十年代的娱乐大环境，以及艺人们成名前后秘辛，并穿插观众当年耳熟能详的人物，如樱花和凌云、王沙和野峰、厦语片皇后庄雪芳、歌迷王子黄清元等。

星光大集会： 近年演出只属单元性质的周初明在剧组的量身订做下重出江湖，演绎电影海报画家，入行多年一向是大制作绝缘体的瑞恩也将出演“花木兰”一角。据知，剧组打算邀请台湾某当红偶像出演鬼马男主角。前两个“人间系列”的演员在剧中担任要角，老中青演员倾巢而出，已确定名单包括陈莉萍、郑各评、林湘萍、张耀栋、陈罗密欧、黄文永、林梅娇、陈邦鋆、庞蕾馨、姚玟隆、潘玲玲、莫小玲主演。剧组也希望邀请曾慧芬、李锦梅与欧菁仙等迁居外地或退居幕后的艺人客串要角，两个字形容：热闹！

久违了的武术题材，以60年代武馆门派斗争为背景，黄俊雄饰演一名身世神秘不欲涉足江湖是的男子，瑞恩则是学艺不精的女混混，两人双双卷入一场江湖恶斗。其他演员包括郑各评、陈邦鋆、蔡琦慧、童冰玉等。

谁是人气王?

“收视女王”瑞恩人气最旺，从目前在播映的《边缘父子》，到还在马国拍摄的《正义武馆》与明年的《最火搭档2》和《花样人间》，剧集一部接一部接。
