《红星大奖2010》”十大最受欢迎男女艺人”本周最新战情出炉！

上两周的”十大”战情，并没有给大家太大的惊喜，但本周的最新消息，新一代阿姐白薇秀竟意外跌出领先的”十大”女艺人，取而代之的是本地第一代阿姐向云。

According to latest telepoll votes by the public, the artistes leading in the Top 10 rankings are:

Ann Kok 郭舒贤, Belinda Lee 李心钰, Felicia Chin 陈靓瑄, Jeanette Aw, Jesseca Liu 刘芷绚, Jin Yin Ji 金银姬, Rui En 瑞恩 (1900-112-2031), Vivian Lai 赖怡伶, Xiang Yun 向云 and Yvonne Lim 林湘萍 .

The rankings are in no particular order. Public voting makes up 50% of the results, while the remaining 50% comes from the research survey done earlier. The results of the Top 10 will be revealed during the Star Awards 2010, 25 April, Sunday, 7pm ‘Live’ on Channel 8. Voting lines are currently open, and will close on 25 April, 9.00pm.

Yes, it’s the Star Awards latest updates on the Top 10 Favourite Characters…and for the first time since it started on 1 March, Aunty Lucy garnered enough votes to 杀退 Ah-Jie Zoe Tay and took a spot in the Top 10 Favourite Female Characters!

Rui En 瑞恩 and Zoe Tay 郑惠玉 take on the main leading female roles in the new CID/Informant drama ‘Lost & Found 最火搭档’! 剧中两名女主角是“亦敌亦友”(一老一少) 的矛盾关系，她们必须互相帮助，却又互相憎恨。

Rui En’s dream of playing someone who can fight like Jackie Chan will be fulfilled. She will become the CID Officer nicknamed ‘老大’ (her staff secretly call her ‘排骨精’ behind her back). 自小受到母亲的影响，灌输她这世界就是个大竞技场的观念，做任何事就如一场比赛，输了就是失败者。因此，她对输赢非常执着，养成她好强争胜 的性格。

为了破案，她会使用手段，有时显得不近人情。因为她加入警队本就不为了伸张正义，维护治安。对她来说，警界是个不断往上爬的竞技场。但后来接触到Zoe Tay，让她逐渐了解，帮助人得到的满足感更大，可是…习惯成自然，为了帮助人，她依然不择手段。

Zoe Tay plays the role of a 警察卧底、警方线人、表面身份是小食店老板, Zoe 被训练成忍辱负重的性子。为了达成任务，她牺牲许多又坚持下去，显出她强韧的一面。没错，她认真起来是很可怕的。平常笑容可掬，擅于与人打成一 片，给人毫无杀伤力的感觉，因此那些罪犯都不防范于她，也因此她交游广阔，便利于打听消息。接触了不少失踪案，越查越上瘾，以寻回失踪者为己任。

‘Lost & Found 最火搭档’ (20 episodes) is the new CID/Informant drama (thriller police genre like 破茧而出 Metamorphosis).  Both characters will be linked to another mysterious CID lead role played by Tay Ping Hui 郑斌辉.  Other cast include: Andie Chen, Kola Zhou, Shaun Chen, Joshua Ang, Paige Chua, Pei Xuan, Zheng Ge Ping, Rayson Tan, Wang Yu Qing, Brandon Wong, Zzen Zhang, Chen Tian Wen, Ong Ai Ling, Koh Yah Hwee, Zhu Hou Ren, Lin Mei Jiao, etc.

‘Lost & Found 最火搭档’ 监制：袁树伟 and 故事/编审：彭凯毅. Telecast on Channel 8 from 4 August at 9pm. Rui En has gotten all her dream roles, what’s next? The 30s songstress? Or simply retired? (Just kidding).

I hesitated on many occassions to talk to her…is 瑞恩 Rui En really a scary  ’black-faced ice princess’? Will she give me the WTF look when she is unhappy with my questions? Yesterday was the day we finally met up face-to-face and eye-to-eye (sorry, no lips-to-lips lah). The last time we came that close was over the email interview on my BaguaTV’s ‘Knock-Knock 敲敲门’ series debut…

One magazine boycotted her yesterday because they claimed her manager wanted the questions prior to the interview… And of course there was this reporter (I think he is already infamously blacklisted in the RBKD camp) continued to interview every other stars except her.

Rui En really isn’t what some media painted her to be. She took on every single reporter cheerfully without ’screening’ anyone or anything. I didn’t notice any trace of her feeling agitated. No WTH. No WTF.

My videos captured our entire conversation and you get the real Rui En – friendly but within her personal acceptable zone. We chatted on many things…my initial awkwardness (Part 1 Video above), her challenging roles, her Japan trip to shoot the Channel 8’s travelogue ‘Lodge With Me 我行我宿’ and her discoveries about life on that journey. Rui En also shared her frank opinion on her chance to play the songstress role in the musical drama ‘星洲之夜 A Song To Remember’ (the same drama which 白薇秀 Joanne Peh already trumpeted her desire to be a part of it).

There’s only one thing I don’t like about Rui En. Who did her imaging at the press conference? The hair and accessories just made her looking like some old conservative 老处女 lor…hehe…

Big news for people who really care about 瑞恩 Rui En! Quickly go grab the latest issue of i-Weekly (cover with Jeanette & Dai Yang Tian)! Rui En is becoming pregnant and the father of the child is a 40 years old man!

Enough of the tease since last night…hehe… It’s Rui En’s 2010 second breakthrough drama lead role! This time, she is offered a role usually given to more matured starlets like 郭淑贤 Ann Kok, 许美珍 Cynthia Koh and 林湘萍 Yvonne Lim. Ahem…should the 3 熟女 icons be very worried now that a princess is making a cross over into their 熟女 territory? Will this ‘trend’ spell the end of the reign of the 熟女stars?

Acting as a ’simple and cutesy’ gal in the new drama ‘过好年 Happy Family’ (debuts 19 January) is already a breakthrough for Rui En. Taking on the role of a mother (already with a kid running around) and pregnant with a second child is another big thing for Rui En! Who can imagine she is married to a 40 years old man 陈汉伟 Chen Han Wei (who dies in a freak accident and turning into a ghost) and romancing another 40 plus years old man 彭耀顺 Adrian Pang (ditching the usual pairing of more handsome and younger dude like 黄俊雄 Elvin Ng)?

It is a complete change of image for Rui En and one that is hard to visualise.

No risk, no gain, Rui En is taking a bold step out of her territory and take on the territory of Ann, Cynthia and Yvonne. Will Rui En succeed? Will Rui En kiss ‘goodbye’ to any more youthful looking lead roles now that she is ‘promoted’?

2010 marks the year we are diversifying into more genres and fresh drama casting. Watch out for more surprises to come…the above drama starring Rui En, Chen Han Wei and Adrian Pang is tentatively titled as ‘I’m With You’ and will debut in May 2010.

Yes, the new Rui En you all have been waiting for… She is playing this ‘ding-dong-merrily-on-high’ cutesy simple girl in the new drama ‘Happy Family 过好年’. It will be televised from 19 January after the current drama ‘当我们同在一起 Together’ ends on the 18 January (a back-to-back finale of 2 episodes).
