This just in: Jesseca Liu is now taking the lead in the 2012 Star Awards Favourite Female Character poll. The actress, who played Yang Min Fei on The Oath, has surpassed Rui En, who portrayed Zhang Ya Le in A Tale of Two Cities, in the number of votes, after two weeks of voting from fans.
Other nominations include Cynthia Wang as Lin Shan Shan in Devotion, Ann Kok as Feng Yue Man in Kampong Ties and Kimberly Chia as Ah Ya in On the Fringe.
Rui En had always claimed the top spot for Favourite Female Character poll since voting commenced on Mar 1.
While she might have lost out on the Favourite Female Character poll temporarily, Rui En’s pairing with Elvin Ng as Ou Kelu and Song Yazai in Code of Honour is still leading in the Favourite On-Screen Couple poll.
