Apart from the Best Actor and Best Actress award category presented last night, the next highly-anticipated award category belonged to the Top 10 Most Popular Male and Female artistes award. It was no surprise that shoo-ins like Dai Yangtian, Elvin Ng, Qi Yuwu, Tay Pinghui, Felicia Chin, Jeanette Aw, Joanne Peh, and Rui En bagged an award each.

Are the people who received the promised lozenges called “Lozengees”?

Anyway I really hope that all of you know that I love you too, even if there might not have been enough lozenges to go around.

Just wanted to drop a note to tell you how much I appreciated your voting for the Fav female character thingie, I know you guys worked very hard, and if it’s any consolation, I was informed that the results were very close. To me, it was enough to see u guys there and hear your screams.

I really have to apologize for not being able to spend more time with you after the show, and also to those who come and wait for me at radio gate on other days, but I always have to rush off cos the next morning is early. Unfortunately, Monday is also early! When I film, I try to focus and concentrate on the work as much as I can, sometimes to the point of being oblivious to all else.

The ghost show was emotionally-draining(much much more than I expected initially), and the current one is physically and mentally taxing, so my dears do forgive me if I always have to rush off – nowadays even that extra half hour of sleep is incredibly precious 

Anyway, I really hope you have a good time on Sunday, enjoy yourselves screaming, just take it as stress-relief lah. God knows I need that myself, but I shall live vicariously through your screams.

It’s the time of the year again where Caldecott Hill’s artistes are lined-up and ranked against each other like a High School popularity contest. From the popular ‘it’ crowd, to the mediocre folks, and of course, the underdogs.

With the seven princesses now whittled down to the formidable four, there’s no showing in weaker star power or lost of appeal amongst fans.

The trio’s (Jeanette, Felicia, and Rui En) ardent fans put on such a strong resistance against fellow competitors during voting of Most Favourite Female Character (in the Star Awards Show 1) and took up three out of the coveted five final spots. A legion of fans? You betcha. Guaranteed spots? No doubt about it.

As for the newly-crowned media darling, Joanne, she has got the best of both worlds — fans and media — on her side. Coupled with her current exposure on the 7pm slot in the ongoing megadrama series Your Hand In Mine, she’s a sure shoo-in at this Sunday’s awards ceremony.

新传媒阿姐陈莉萍初演警匪片，不但为戏减肥，还染发换前卫发型，一改阿嫂风格！

陈莉萍昨日出席新传媒8频道新剧《最火搭档》开镜仪式，出席艺人还包括郑斌 辉、瑞恩、陈邦鋆、周颖、洪赐健、陈泰铭、蔡琪慧和曾诗梅。

一姐郑惠玉辞演该剧，由陈莉萍替上，饰演亦正亦邪的角色林正仪，表面身份是个亲切友善的小食店老板，私下却是警方线人和卧底。

此外，《最火》也是陈莉萍和瑞恩的首次合作。

对于这次的新鲜搭配，陈莉萍透露，非常期待。她说：”感觉（和瑞恩）很有火花，很有新鲜感，很有挑战性！”

《最火搭档》预计今年8月通过8频道播出。

We dropped by today at the lensing ceremony of Ch 8’s new upcoming drama “Unriddle”, which will air in August.

All smiles and cheers,  as the cast prepares the start of the filming for this drama. Huat ah!!
