八频道连续剧《乐在双城》即将播完，有观众反映，这部剧后劲不足，4对男女主角要爱不爱，就拖拖拉拉了好几集，但是，这部连续剧的收视率，却超越了台湾长寿剧《爱》。

一名观众李女士（36岁，执行人员）告诉《新明日报》，《乐在双城》的前半部确实很好看，每个人物个性鲜明，如瑞恩有公主病、白薇秀演拜金女。不过，她发现到了后半部，剧情开始拖拉。

《乐》的监制兼故事人袁树伟说，《乐》不是一部以爱情为主的连续剧，因此到了第11集，才有所谓的感情戏。

“我们的连续剧并不会讲述到这四对人结婚后的情况等，因此不会显得拖拉。加上有4对情侣，因此20集就算平均分配，每对情侣只有5集，也不算太多。”

《乐》的收视率也报捷，从首周吸引平均90万4000名观众，增加到这周的平均93万5000名观众。袁树伟也说，《乐》的口碑相当好，票房已经超过7点档台湾剧集《爱》。

剧中演员张耀栋说，他本身则觉得剧集相当紧凑。

“一部剧只有20多集，不象《爱》那种长篇剧，因此不算拖拉。我觉得我和薇秀的感情戏都蛮好的。”

张振寰也同意说，这部电视连续剧的剧情节奏快，毕竟剧中有4条线，需要一些交待，不过他本身觉得剧集的节奏轻快。

“白薇秀在戏中是个顶尖的模特儿，她的衣服都是比较贴身、紧身的衣服，所以那些比较大胆的女生来尝试。瑞恩在戏中有两种性格，一个是千金大小姐，所以那些比较爱打扮，俏丽的女生可以前来购买。”

由范文芳、李南星、瑞恩、张耀栋和姚玟隆等参演的新传媒重头剧《边缘父子》，原本由“哎哟哟”陈莉萍担纲女主角，饰演剧中黑社会大姐大。不过，临门一脚却传来陈莉萍辞演，制作组得立刻找来范二姐顶上！

据记者探知，陈莉萍是以“病假”为由辞演《边》，不过，圈中却也传出多个不同的辞演原因和版本，其中最“震撼”莫过她怀孕有喜！

称有‘急事’要处理

记者向陈莉萍询问关于她辞演的因由，她并没有透露太多，只是含糊表示《边》中黑帮大姐大是难得不同类型的角色，现在只是回到开始阶段，本来属意的范文芳。她也表示自己有急事得办，办妥后就没事。除此，陈莉萍也表示，希望自己能好好充电，养精蓄锐，以便以最佳状态演出年底拍摄的《最火搭档2》。

“一开始时我觉得，呃，她很酷，都不跟人讲话的，久了就ok，有讲话了啦。看得出她很用功，方展发也是，他知道他的华语不行，没有跟我们噼里啪啦讲话的，有空档都会看剧本。我最糟糕，都没什么时间看剧本，哈哈。”

之前热播的≪最火搭档≫首集便创下96万1000收视，而大结局播出后不久，更是有观众在网络上大赞，并强烈要求开拍续集。剧中，本地演员的精彩演出已经博得观众不少好评。

虽然男艺人也有不俗表现，本剧最抢眼的还是女刑警小曼和女线人正仪。两人”亦敌亦友”的矛盾意味着，她们必需互相帮助，但同时两人又心有怨恨。如此纠结的关系也是全剧的看点之一。

Dear Members/Committee Members of other Fan Clubs

I have just been notified of an existing panic among some fans involved in the local Fan Club scene. It is regarding the requirement to register FCs and its legal implications to not do so. Apparently, the source of the email was from RBKD.

Hence I see a need to stem this unnecessary and ill-intended panic with a clarification note.

1. The sender of the emails/notifications (Mr. Goh Cheng Ying) is not a member of RBKD. His intention of making it known despite not being the subject-matter expert, is dubious. He is definitely not in the right position to advise.

2. The original intended recipients of the message, the content of which was irresponsibly circulated by Mr. Goh Cheng Ying, were targeting at our official members of RBKD. Due to an unforeseen human error, the message was instead, sent to all forum users of RBKD on 18th January 2011. I was however, notified of this issue only on 5th March 2011.

3. If you had read up on Singapore’s history, you would have known of the prolific presence of the secret societies in post-independence Singapore. As a result, the Societies Act was first drafted in 1966, with many believing its rationale to be in curbing the presence of secret societies. In the Act, any society with 10 or more members is required by law to register with the ROS (Registry of Societies, Ministry of Home Affairs). Failing of which, there would be possible legal implications.

4. As of today, the only Fan Club in Singapore to be officially registered on the registrar is the Fannatic Fann Club; they were registered in Year 2000.

5. Following RBKD’s deeper involvement into Charity and growing membership base (103 Official Members currently), the committee decided that there is now a need to register with the ROS. Hence in early January 2011, RBKD submitted our formal application with the Registry.

6. Approximately 2 weeks ago, we were notified that our application had been approved. RBKD would be a registered society with the registrar once we proceed to make our payment. Unfortunately, due to an unresolved technical error in the registry’s system, we are unable to make our payment and RBKD’s status is hence, still pending approval.

7. As a result, I do not think that RBKD is in the position to advise or notify any other Fan Clubs. Therefore, we did not announce our application to non-members/other Fan Clubs despite the fact that sharing this experience with other Fan Clubs is actually in our plans all along.

8. I have spoken to the Presidents of other Fan Clubs and they have shown great understanding towards this issue and no one came across as panicky. We concluded that it was probably due to misinterpreted information shared out of context by someone who was not in the best position to, resulting in panic among members who were unable to verify the validity of their sources.

9. Hence I would like to urge members of other Fan Clubs to seek clarification with your FC President. Should your FC President require further clarifications, please advise him/her to contact me personally. Our contacts have always been shared on the right side of our webpage, at the sidebar.

10. This being said, I would still have to insist that RBKD is not the subject-matter expert too, and that we are not in the position to advise regarding this Societies Act. If you have further inquiries, you may contact the Ministry of Home Affairs. However, if you are keen to register your Fan Club, I would be more than glad to share our experience with you, just drop us an email :)

11. Last but not least, we would like to caution you that any message from RBKD would be sent directly to you if you are the intended recipient; it would never be circulated via a third party. Should you receive any claims or messages originating from RBKD but not sent to you directly, please notify us immediately.

On behalf of RBKD, I apologize for possible panic caused. I hope it would not be long before I could share with you the good news that RBKD is officially a registered society too. Till then, I hope you are looking forward to Star Awards 2011 as much as I am, and do vote for Rui En! =D

In ‘On The Fringe 边缘父子’, Rui En plays a blind social worker “中途之家”义工，协助囚犯在出狱前适应社会，善良、乐观，虽因意外导致双目失明，却积极面对人生，从不怨声载道。她知道田一邦(Li Nanxing)当年是误入歧途才犯案，其实本人十分正直，遂不断鼓励他开创人生新篇章，并立阻田一邦被反派刘佳丽(Fann Wong)拉入黑道。

Rest will be a luxury for Rui En 瑞恩. First it was ‘A Tale of 2 Cities 乐在双城’, next comes ‘The In-Laws 麻婆斗妇’ (still shooting). Immediately after that, she jumps straight into another drama production ‘On The Fringe 边缘父子’ to be followed closely (maybe even overlapping) with the production of ‘The Righteous 正义武馆’ (she has to do kung-fu) and ending the year with the production of Unriddle 2 最火搭档2.

She will have to work very hard to differentiate the various roles (so far so good) given the unanimous vote of confidence from the various demanding Executive Producers. You either end up with audience finding it ‘too much’ of the same Rui En or you succeed in becoming the next most admired character actress after 黄碧仁 and 李锦梅…

And it is really exciting to have Fann Wong 范文芳 becoming 有情有义黑社会大姐头，内敛不外露，不怒而威，在帮派头目死后，接手管理众弟兄，但面对“内忧外患”，问题重重，深陷危机，这时更发现自己有孕在身。她知道田一邦(Li Nanxing) 重情重义，设法拉拢他。。。

Everybody loves Li Nanxing 李南星 – the Ah Ge of all Ah Ge. He became a household name when he first acted in ‘On The Fringe 边缘少年’ decades ago…now he is back as 田一邦aka前“边缘少年”，出入感化院，后因抢劫兼严重伤人被判入狱，妻子与他离婚。话不多，冷酷，重义气，身手敏捷。出狱后发现一直未见面的儿子正步上歧途，想方设法阻止儿子走上自己的老路，父子间冲突不断。他摆脱不了黑势力，被大姐头刘佳丽拉入阵营，义工莎莎则希望把他拉出来，走回正途。

Besides Zhang Yao Dong 张耀栋 as the evil 新一代黑道老大, we also get to see a strong cast like Yao Wen Long 姚玟隆, Eelyn Kok 郭惠雯 (who is enjoying rising popularity in Malaysia now with her 理温馨亲情电视剧’The Seeds of Life 渔米人家’), Pang Ling Ling 潘玲玲, Brandon Wong 黄炯耀, Constance Song 宋怡霏, Alan Tern 唐育书, Rayson Tan 陈泰铭, Taiwanese newbie Kate Pang 庞蕾馨, Chen Tian Wen 陈天文, Chen Guo Hua 陈国华, etc.

“我私下很大剌剌，连穿裙化妆都觉得是苦差。唯一比较挑剔的，是我讨厌沾到肮脏，双手要洗得很干净，随身一定带消毒湿纸巾。

刚知道要演落难富家女时，我真的不懂要从何开始。后来我想起以前的富有女同学，发现她们会把宠爱和享受视为理所当然，因为她们从小到大就知道这种生活。她们也好像有点孤单，总喜欢被很多人包围和注意。我便尝试从这种心理出发来诠释角色。”

若能当一天公主：

“我会利用公主的财富和权威来做善事，尤其是那些较不幸的儿童。毕竟我们无法选择自己的出身，所我特别想要帮助那些家境贫困或有先天病症的孩子。虽然我很怕盛装打扮成公主那样，但如果这么做才能行善，我也豁出去了。反正拍了这部戏之后，穿裙再也难不倒我，哈哈！”
