The Cartier flagship at Ion Orchard has officially reopened after six months of remodelling and is now the brand’s largest boutique in South East Asia.

To celebrate the unveiling of the new space, Cartier hosted a cocktail event with special appearances by Korean superstar Rain and local celebrities Zoe Tay, Fann Wong, Christopher Lee, Rui En, Rebecca Lim and Sheila Sim.

Yes, #RuiEn, we started queuing in the morning at 8am because, it’s you. #BecauseYouAreWorthIt. But no, #RuiEn, you don’t have to apologize to us for the late commencement of the event. You yourself had to wait quite a while too. . And you know what? We just love how you squeezed your way out to walk towards us, no matter how many guards there were. And how you “grumbled” when you were pulled away from us, how you were the one who asked us for a wefie. We know you love us. . We love how you literally laughed out loud in front of us, when we shared with you that someone told us that we cheered too loudly for you (loudest at event, check IG stories from @8dayssg ), it’s rude to the Korean star who’s entering after you. So different from the @cartier & ION’s staff who can’t stop telling you about us. 😂 . . Korean or local stars, fans just support the one they love. When you walked towards us, fans of the Korean star who stood behind us, gushed so loudly about how gorgeous you look, they sounded like they needed more oxygen to be honest. .
