RBKD: Rui En shared that she visited a NKF dialysis centre prior to filming as part of her preparatory work. She cringed and felt for the patients when she witnessed needles being inserted for dialysis purposes. However, she did not tear or explicitly express sympathy as she felt the need to show them the respect; she opined that even if one were to tear, it should be behind their backs as the patients would rather be treated with dignity and not sympathy. We totally agree with Rui En on this and salute her for it.

Rui En also shared in the video on how she has the tendency of hitting people who makes her laugh and how she would only hit the ones whom she likes/ is comfortable with.

RBKD: Did you know i-weekly’s predecessor debuted in January 1981, the same month Rui En was born in? In celebration of this, Rui En graces the cover of the latest i-weekly with a “Hundred questions in under an hour” challenge.

Rui En’s parents felt her Chinese name sounded nice enough (we agree) and hence did not give her an English one. But what would she name herself if she could?
