Not expecting to score a best actress nomination is Zhou Ying, who is not completely satisfied with her performance in “Breakout”.

“If given another chance, I would do better,” said the 26-year-old Shanghainese, adding that she is “just honoured to be nominated alongside shi jies” (seniors in Chinese) like Joanne Peh (“Your Hand In Mine”), Chen Li Ping (“Unriddle”), Jeanette Aw (“Breakout”) and Rui En (“With You”), also a first-time nominee in this category.

Besides “Breakout”, other frontrunners include “The Family Court” with eight nominations and “Unriddle” with seven, while heartwarming variety show “Love On A Plate” takes the lead among variety productions with five nods, including best variety programme and best variety show host.

当家花旦瑞恩首度入围《红星》”最佳女主角”，力拼入围多次的欧萱，周颖初次担纲女主角，也首次加入战局！

《红星大奖2011》入围名单今午出炉，”最佳女主角”人选方面在预料之中，包括《最火搭档》的视后陈莉萍、《破天网》的欧萱与周颖、《想握你的手》的白薇秀和《我在你左右》的瑞恩。

这些角色形象突出，发挥空间大，比较有起伏，故竞争激烈，并没有人有明显的冠军相。

瑞恩：打赌自己不会入围

瑞恩在2002年出道，近年来演技日渐纯熟，尝试各种角色，突破酷女形象，从《过好年》的乐天傻妹到《我在你左右》的悲情寡妇，皆让人眼前一亮，也成了本地去年的收视女王。

这次，她终于凭《我在你左右》的深刻演技，入围”最佳女主角”，也是不少人心中的大热门。

瑞恩在接受xinmsn电访时，开心表示：”我非常非常意外，这种入围的感觉很陌生，因为从来没有过，我在校园也从来没有拿过什么奖。”

她透露，她还和朋友打赌，认为自己不会入围，但结果输了，可能要请吃饭。

问她的得奖胜算，瑞恩表示：”我觉得自己完全没有机会得奖，这样也就没有压力。”《我在你左右》能够收视第一，她已经很满足了。

不过，搭档陈汉玮可是非常看好瑞恩，称赞她这几年很不错，在看似难接触的外表下，非常有料。

周颖：第一时间通知父母

和瑞恩一样，这是周颖首度入围”最佳女主角”。但相对于瑞恩等了多年，周颖福星高照，得到好角色，签约新传媒不到1年，首度担纲女主角，已经获得评审肯定。

至于对手们，周颖表示很开心，和她们一起入围是自己的荣耀。虽然不敢说谁的胜算最高，但她很喜欢瑞恩的角色，她当时每天追看《我在你左右》。

The Shanghai lass wins recognition for her performance in recent blockbuster drama Breakout and will go head on with Jeanette Aw and Rui En at Star Awards 2011

The nomination list for this year’s Star Awards 2011 came as a big surprise with hot favourites left in the cold for the running of Best Actor and Best Actress awards.

The Singapore-based actress, Zhou Ying, will be going head on with local starlets like Rui En (With You) and Jeanette Aw (Breakout) for a go at the Best Actress award this year.

Talking about her competitors, Zhou Ying was full of praise for Rui En’s woebegone role in With You and shared that she “closely followed” the series and “really loved” the latter’s role in the show.

Alongside with Zhou Ying, this is also the first time Rui En is being nominated in the Best Actress award. She had a bountiful year appearing in three drama series (Happy Family, With You, and Unriddle) last year and garnered critical acclaim for her heartrending acting in With You.

‘Breakout 破天网’ led with 14 nominations inlcuding Best Drama, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor and Actress and Best Director. ‘The Family Court 走进走出’ came in a distant second with 8 nominations followed by ‘Unriddle 最火搭档’ with 7 nominations and ‘With You 我在你左右’ (6 nominations).

The fight for Best Actress is probably the most anticipated with super strong and popular nominees. Rui En 芮恩 who did not garner any Star Award’s nomination since she first started acting has finally landed with a nomination in the No.1 most-watched drama of 2010 ‘With You 我在你左右’. Will she go on to win it? Watch out for Chen Li Ping 陈莉萍 – winning Best Actress is always a reality when you see her name in any nomination list especially when she was that good in ‘Unriddle 最火搭档’.

受力捧的戴阳天、黄俊雄和白薇秀，却不受网民肯定？本地网友率先办“网络版红星大奖”，瑞恩、彭耀顺封视后视帝！

年度红星大奖举行之际，由本地网民发起的“网络版红星大奖”日前率先放榜颁奖，经过一个月的评选、投票活动，最后瑞恩凭去年最高收视剧《我在你左右》，一举夺后；视帝则名归已离巢的彭耀顺，他同样凭《我在》踢走李铭顺和戚玉武，捧回“最佳男主角”！

“网络红星大奖”由本地论坛Media Chat发起，版主振豪表示，由于近年的红星大奖欠缺说服力，本地电视迷今年决定赛前颁奖，活动于一月前开跑，评选出的十大包括郑斌辉、陈汉玮、黄俊雄等，但最后五大，几位“阿哥”却被淘汰，“视帝候选”有李铭顺（《破天网》）、戚玉武（《走进走出》）、彭耀顺（《我在》）、郭亮（《破天网》）和王沺裁（《魔幻视界》），最后由彭耀顺夺得。

新人周颖、童冰玉均晋升“最佳女主角”十强，却不见受力捧的白薇秀，而姜还是老的辣，硕果仅存的五强有向云（《无花果》）、瑞恩（《最火搭档》）、瑞恩（《我在》）、陈莉萍（《最火》），以及欧萱（《破天网》），瑞恩最后凭《我在》脱颖而出封后。

最佳男女配角分别由“戏精”陈澍城（《我在你左右》）、潘玲玲（《想握你的手》）抱回。

据悉，该奖项为示公平，制度透明化，在最后五大阶段，分别由评委（70％）和网民投票（30％），评委为几位过去近一年活跃于论坛的网友，版主也说：“这几位担任评委的网友，不得有偏激或针对性的意见；近一年来，他们立场中立，就事论事，所以才被选为评审。”

版主也表示，尽量防网友“灌票”，“一旦看到投票的网友IP地址重复，那一票数就会作废。”

今年封后呼声高，瑞恩：希望红星由观众选出，但得奖与否有很多其他因素！

自2005年起，拿了五年的“十大最受欢迎女艺人”，瑞恩却一直无缘“最佳女主角”，但她去年交出《我在》、《最火》和《过好年》的漂亮成绩单，今年封后呼声高，或将能打破僵局。

她虽然不看重奖项，但得悉在“网络版红星大奖”以《我在》封视后，表示感谢网友给予的肯定，“其实我最满意《好》，那是我最舒服的角色，不觉得我在《我在》中做得很好，哈哈。”

是否希望该奖为红星风向球，她直言：“两者差很远！当然希望红星由观众选出来，但大家都知道，（得奖与否）仍有很多其他因素。”

“我尽量做到不在意奖项和收视，不想以那些为拍戏的出发点，那样太刻意了；（红星）入围与否对我来说不重要，我也会叫自己不要去想。”

“Highly entertaining…every artiste was born to play the role he or she was given in ‘A Tale of 2 Cities 乐在双城!’”

“Never knew Rui En 瑞恩 could succeed in playing a role that is not too ‘act cute’ or ‘irritating’…somebody please give this gal a Best Actress award!”

“You will be convinced it was not by luck Joanne Peh 白薇秀 won Best Actress – wait till you see her magical transformation into a materialistic gal…especially all those hilarious scenes with Zhang Yao Dong 张耀栋 who played her cheeko Ah-Beng partner-in-crime…”

I have already watched all 10 episodes of the new drama ‘A Tale of 2 Cities 乐在双城’ debuting on 14 Feb…and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Rui En superbly created a role that is hard not to like. Joanne Peh is so unpretentiously great in it and I especially enjoyed every scene she appeared together with the hum-sup Zhang Yao Dong. Talented newbie Kate Pang 庞蕾馨 did not disappoint and delivered beyond our expectations. Julie Tan 陈欣淇 is Singapore’s answer to Yun Eunhea 尹恩惠 of Korean’s 咖啡王子1号店 fame.

I am already asking for episode 11…(I usually stopped previewing after watching less than 10 episodes of any new drama). ‘A Tale of 2 Cities 乐在双城’ is highly recommended. Guaranteed.

（新加坡讯）观众票选去年『最佳女主角』，欧萱凭《破天网》拔得头筹，瑞恩则以3部作品打入五强，前届视后白薇秀则十强不入。

新传媒中文节目与宣传企划部副总裁陈国明在博客上要求网友留言，选出去年5名表现最好的女主角，为今年4月举行的《红星大奖》探温。

上百名读者留言中，有55人认为欧萱应凭《破天网》入围，排名第二的是《我在你左右》的瑞恩，得到52人的点名。

虽然欧萱在票选中领先，但瑞恩一举在5强里占了3个名额，更是风光。

观众表示瑞恩在《我》、《过好年》和《最火搭档》里角色很不同，但都诠释得很出色，希望她能包下3个入围席位。

前届视后白薇秀主演的超低收视率长寿剧《想握你的手》，则不被网友看好能入围，只有8人认为她表现好。

除了白薇秀不受好评外，凭《魔幻视界》入围《亚洲电视大奖》“最佳戏剧女主角”的主持阿姐权怡凤，也只得3人点名。

去年夺得视后的陈莉萍，虽临时顶替怀孕的阿姐郑惠玉，担任《最》的女主角，但因实力雄厚，被看好能连庄。
