To whom it may concern

It has been weeks since the episode unravelled, peaked, and ended; at least we so thought. Time and again, we expressed our desire for it to end, naively believing it would, but it could not. A flawed argument will never stand tall against the truth. We have said our piece, shared the truth, we do not write to lead you to think in the way we want you to; because truth stands, that will never change.

We walk out of this episode, perhaps losing the support and understanding of a few; but at least, we have heeded the advice of the conscience and integrity in us.

“强奸不逐”雷声大雨点小，张耀栋原来只是逼瑞恩“喝水不逐”!

之前引起争议与批评的《边缘父子》“强奸不逐”，戏分昨晚大结局上终于登场，张耀栋饰演的Leo与瑞恩饰演的莎莎独自在家中，Leo强迫莎莎喝下一杯下了药的水，之后意图是什么没有明显表明。莎莎挣扎抗拒之时，李南星饰演的田一邦就破门而入，解救了她。

这场戏在客厅里发生，虽然张耀栋一度把脸贴进瑞恩，但他们最亲密的接触只限于双手拉扯。

对此，早前发电邮给媒体，直斥张耀栋炒作手段的瑞恩本地后援会“RBKD瑞不可当”昨晚就在推特留言：“没有意图强奸，怎能强奸不逐呢?”

不过，昨晚还是出现了“强奸不逐”的戏分，只不过发生在范文芳身上!

范文芳饰演的刘佳丽在剧中为了解救被绑架的弟弟，答应“献身”给王智国饰演的奸角，两人在床上有亲密接触，王智国除了一度搂着范文芳的腰，更亲吻她的脸颊，称为“强奸不逐”，绝对合格!

Dear All

It was most heart-warming for us and Rui En to receive your words of support, understanding and encouragement. It matters a lot to us.

Many of you are concerned about Rui En. She is fine and has decided to focus on her filming in Malaysia because this matters most to her currently.

We understand that many of you are concerned how Rui En and RBKD may be be unfavourably perceived due to media biasness, thank you for your kind concern.

To us, this was one incident that less misleading information could have prevented, but it was not.

To us, this was one incident that a single sincere clarification could have stopped, but it was not.

To us, this was also one incident that less conflicting and contradicting statements could have put a stop to, but it was not.

You might also think that this was one incident that need not have been like this if not for Rui En or our reaction, but you are not right, because we did not ask for this.

In life, everyone is different. We not only look and behave differently, we think and consider issues differently. What matters a lot to some people might not matter at all to us; however, it is basic manners for us to respect and be mindful of what matters to others that might be insignificant to us, this is defined in dictionaries as being Considerate.

To some of you, Rui En might have overreacted.

But to Rui En, it is a matter of integrity and principles, and also her firm belief that sexual/physical abusing of women should never be used as a form of attention grabbing ploy for any purposes, including for the promotion of a drama. And these, matter a lot to her.

For RBKD, it was a tough call. We know the road ahead would not be easy, we know we might offend people, we know we might be misunderstood, we know it is easier for us to just censor Rui En’s post and prevent it from being posted, we also know it is easier for us if we just keep our mouths shut and pray that people forget about the incident totally. But is the easy way out the right way to go?

Truth will eventually speak for itself, definitely.

We seek neither attention nor trouble, but only to guard the integrity and principles that matter most to us, most to her.

We thank all media, with the exception of one, for handling this incident with as much caution as possible.

We thank all fans, for voicing out in support of Rui En when it matters most.

We thank all Rangels, for never ever wavering your belief in Rui En and in us too.

Lastly, we thank Rui En, for standing firm by your belief and speaking up for it. You taught us valuable lessons:

1. To never fear doing what is right;
2. To safeguard the beliefs that matter most to us; and
3. To mean what we say when we claim that we empathise with the victims of sexual/physical abuse.

Mean what you say and say what you mean.

May this incident comes to a closure with this as we realign focus to what matters most to us now, the show “On The Fringe” itself.

Dear Felicia and Felicians

Our sincere apologies for carelessly dragging you into this issue.

If it is anyone’s fault, it is purely carelessness on our part, to have failed to realise the possible consequences of including the example when a mutual fan of Rui En and Felicia Chin highlighted that to us. Sorry.

We feel for Rui En when she was so innocently involved in this whole issue; hence, to involve you in this issue so carelessly too, it is our sole responsibility that we will not deny. Sorry.

We hope this incident does not affect the friendly ties RBKD and Felicity have had since RBKD first started in 2008; and may we move on with a lesson learnt, to be more cautious of our consequences and the feelings of people whom we may possibly affect.

瑞恩日前在官网表示，至今仍坚持不拍强奸、亲热戏。

被爆曾欲靠和陈靓瑄绯闻上位，张耀栋被指旧计重施，为抬高人气拖瑞恩下水，影迷不满叫屈，斥他“虚伪”！

新传媒男艺人张耀栋日前出席本地新剧《边缘父子》记者会，3度受访时自揭剧中“强奸戏”桥段，还供出该场戏的对手是瑞恩；日前上《早安您好》再度被问起，他试图撇清，仅表示和监制袁树伟沟通后，了解所谓“强奸戏”，因电视尺度关系最后喊cut，更接着急忙撇清没借瑞恩宣传、炒新闻，让没出席《边》记者会、目前人在马国赶拍新剧的瑞恩，无故衰被拖下水。

她本地后援会“RBKD瑞不可当”昨午发电邮，直斥张耀栋炒作手段、虚伪，更吐他：“明人不说暗话！”

目前在马国赶拍《正义武馆》的瑞恩飞来横祸，影迷为她感不平，虽不想风波延烧，但表示“是原则诚信问题”。

来函的影迷说，张耀栋29日上节目《早》时，干脆嫁祸记者，指媒体问题误导他，却没还原真相，只顾给自己找台阶下。

原以为录影后，事件会告一段落，但张耀栋下节目后，还火上加油，陆续在微博留言：“人生如戏／别在意／真假是非／分不清／妖言惑众／撇不离／敌众我寡／在今昔／一字坚定／我而立……”　更让影迷人愤愤不平，为瑞恩叫屈。

该影迷直言“明人不说暗话”，认为他该为所说过的话负责，更不解为何瑞恩能站出表明立场，张耀栋至今仍畏畏缩缩。

瑞恩坚持不拍强奸亲热戏

瑞恩27日上官网表示，她出道以来坚持不拍强奸、亲热戏，至今立场也从未动摇。

她说，张耀栋主动告诉记者，和她在《边》中有强奸戏码，让她感到意外，但却也并非出乎意料之外。

她也澄清，他所谓的“强奸戏”，是逼迫她在剧中的角色吞药，接着抚摸她的脸和头发。

“虽然我能明白，有的艺人为上报而制造耸动的新闻，但没必要扭曲事实，提供不正确的讯息．．．．．．”

瑞恩也说，当有人为引起注意，不惜“牺牲”他人诚信，就已越过可她的底限。

瑞恩所属的Hype Records昨回应，影迷想保护瑞恩的立场情有可原，也很感觉他们对她的爱戴，但说表示“该说的已经说了”，不愿重提或再置评，“瑞恩还是会如以往保持原则，继续在工作上努力冲刺。”

Hello Everyone

I just thought this is timely so I am here to make an announcement, the members of RBKD shall henceforth, be known as “Rangels”. Yes my dears, we finally have an official name!

As you all might know, we are keen to better develop our “ONE RBKD” spirit and we have been working on The ONE RBKD Blog. I am pleased to let you know that in conjunction with my announcement on “The Rangels”, we would also be launching the @ONERBKD twitter account to spread the love =)

Love is………when 8 individuals brave the perilous Malaysian highways, the possibility of nude squats at customs and the Malaysian custom of ensuring all directions are always, “just go straight”. I am very thankful the Super 8 didn’t end up in Thailand instead.

Love is………buying so much stuff for my filming and to tempt my diminishing appetite, that my already cramped room has become one in which I have to climb over a myriad of boxes and bags to get from the bed to the toilet.

Love is……..doing all this simply to cheer me up in a miserable exhausting situation.

I do really love you guys.
