本地艺人瑞恩与台湾艺人黄鸿升（小鬼）不单演情侣有默契，两人的人气一样旺，同时入围e乐大赏和红星大奖网络投选的名单中。

“新加坡e乐大赏2013”到第五周投选成绩为止，瑞恩在“人气本地电视演员”排名第二，黄鸿升则在“人气男歌手”和“人气台湾电视演员”称霸。

另一方面，两人在红星大奖的表现也不俗，黄鸿升与瑞恩分别以电视剧《花样人间》的“赵明星”和《微笑正义》“刘言之”角色入围《红星大奖2013》网上投选的“最喜爱男/女角色”，还双双凭《花样人间》的“赵明星”、“韩咏咏”角色，入围“最喜爱荧幕情侣”。

黄鸿升赞瑞恩演戏很拼

黄鸿升跟新加坡特别有缘。他出道的第一个音乐奖项在新加坡获得，即2010年的“e乐大赏人气男歌手”；他第一部电影是前年主演庄米雪导演的本地片《一泡而红》；去年，他又到本地拍8频道电视剧《花样人间》，在片中饰演周初明的儿子，跟瑞恩有不少感情戏。

聊到瑞恩这名荧幕情侣，黄鸿升说：“很多记者‘吓’我说，她很‘冷’，是个冰山美人。认识她后，我不觉得她‘冷’，而且因为她演戏很拼，使我也不敢松懈。” 他也称赞瑞恩是个很棒的演员，“我喜欢她，虽然她不太会跟别人聊天。”

欧萱、瑞恩斗人气

本地女演员方面，欧萱和瑞恩大斗人气，她们除了同时在e乐大赏第五周的“人气本地电视演员”领先，两人也都入围红星大奖的“十大最受欢迎女艺人”。欧萱已经连续几周稳坐“人气本地电视演员”的第一，看来她跟排名第二的瑞恩竞争非常激烈。

The battle for the title of Favourite Male Character in this year’s Star Awards is shaping up to be a close fight between two young’uns: Xu Bin and Aloysius Pang.

After reigning the Favourite Male Character polls for a good three weeks, Taiwanese funnyman Alien Huang dropped to third position last week, with younger peers Xu Bin and Aloysius taking over the top spots. We see this trend continue in our latest updates this week, but with a slight shuffle of its own as Xu Bin drops to second position with Aloysius in the lead with his It Takes Two character.

Over to the Favourite Female Character category, fans hoping to see a shake-up in last week’s leaderboard will be disappointed as there are no changes with Kimberly still in the lead and Rui En and Rebecca Lim trailing behind in second and third position respectively. It seems like Kimberly is set to take home her first Star Awards trophy this year and fans of Rui En have got to step up their game should they hope to see the latter bring home the Favourite Female Character award for the third time.

All’s not lost yet though. Here’s a little consolation for ‘RuiVin’ fans: the Unriddle 2 couple is in the undisputed lead for the Favourite Onscreen couple award as they take home the #1 spot (again) in this week’s polling outcome. Alien and Rui En’s pairing in Joys of Life comes in second with Christopher Lee and Jesseca Liu’s (in Game Plan) standing at third placing.

Channel 8 recently relaunched its Toggle Now mobile app for Star Awards 2013. Full of informative trivia and random fun, it was designed to be the gossipy, all-knowing BFF who’s your best SA2013 TV companion!! And guess what, it’s a GREAT app.

Here are 7 reasons why:

1. Win an iPad mini!
Say whaaat? In the Predict & Win tab, predict the winners of 13 award categories in Show 2. (this includes Best Actor/Actress, Best Variety Host, even Best Drama Serial etc etc) If you get a perfect score, you will stand to win an iPad mini! 5 winners will be chosen.
*You will need a MediaCorp Access ID to login. The contest closes at 6.30pm on 28 Apr (Show 2). Remember, the app will log in your last submitted answers before the contest closes.

2. Award the artistes you think are best-dressed
Previously the Best-dressed awards were solely judged by the professional judges of iWeekly, but now you get to weigh in on this! 5. Funny frames
The Star Camera tab is the runaway hit that allows fans to put SA-themed frames over their own pictures. Drama-wise, so far only the Best Drama nominees are included, but more will be released! Users can save to phone, share on FB and Twitter.

6. Twitter Feed
A Twitter waterfall of all tweets containing the official SA hashtag #SA2013. This should be very active on the live shows of 21 and 28 April. For the first time, artistes’ tweets will also be shown on-air during the show!

7. Live backstage content
The Photos and Star Moments tabs are not your usual photos/video feed… Apart from exclusive content from now on, it will be pumped full of LIVE content from our backstage crew during the live shows. This means you get pictures of the artistes’ reactions from off-stage, interviews with foreign artistes from the media corner and all the stuff you never saw on camera!

This just in: After securing the position for four straight weeks, Rui En has lost her top spot in the Favourite Female Character category.

Rui En, who is nominated for her role as Liu Yan Zhi in Poetic Justice, was dethroned by Don’t Stop Believin’s Kimberly Chia. The actresses were also up against each other in the 2012 polls, with Rui En taking home in the ultimate crown for the second year running. So attention, RBKD! If you want to see her bag the honour a third time, remember to start voting.

Nor is fellow MediaCorp Princess, Felicia Chin, faring well – she has completely dropped out of the top three this week, with Rui En’s Poetic Justice co-star Rebecca Lim sliding into third place.

The boys faced a bit of a reshuffling as well. Alien Huang may have been king of the Favourite Male Character category during the first three rounds of voting, but the Taiwanese star is falling fast, and is down another spot to number three.

It Takes Two’s Aloysius Pang, however, is clearly on a roll – he’s now in second place, despite only appearing in the top three for the first time last week. Will he snatch the top spot from current champ Xu Bin? Only time – and your votes! – will tell.

The rankings for Favourite Onscreen Couple remain unchanged. Elvin Ng and Rui En (or ‘RuiVin’) are still going strong, while Alien Huang and Rui En, as well as Christopher Lee and Jesseca Liu, continue to hang around in their second and third places.

You’ve still got about a month left to vote, so help get your picks to the coveted top positions by rooting for them!
