When Hua Hua visits her siblings, the debt collector appears and seeks repayment. Everyone thinks that Da Tian left home to escape his debt. Hua Hua feels ashamed to face her siblings and leaves silently.

Am so happy to hear that some people are enjoying Mister Flower. When I look at my watching choices nowadays for example The Matrix (for the twentieth time) and Why Him? I would say that Flower falls squarely in the same category of “Please Help Me Forget About Covid For Just One Hour!”.

I can’t describe how much joy comedic roles give me, especially one like Chen Da Tian, because a role like this gives me so much room to ad lib vs for example, a lawyer role. As a male in a female body role, I’m allowed to be alot more “chor lor” and free than normal. It was very common for me to end up in a heap of giggles on the floor once the director yelled cut.

When I was filming in this role, at any time in a take, I would do something completely spur of the moment and unexpected, leaving my costars amd the camera man to react organically and spontaneously. There have been situations where I have delivered the same line differently in every take. I would say that there are two sorts of actors, the ones who enjoy the spontaneity, and those who prefer everything to be rehearsed. No right or wrong, just a matter of choice. However my favorite actors I have worked with, have always surprised me during a take, leading to a very organic and truthful response from me. I’ve always felt that acting was more about responding than performing, especially when acting with great actors.

Most importantly, the camera man has to be ready for all these surprises. The ones who have worked with me thru my career are used to it and fantastically flexible. There was one sequence at the lobby of the office building in episode two where I was spying on Julie and Elvin. The camera man Ah Bee after finishing one take laughed that he managed to follow, but that perhaps the audience would be left sea sick. The next generation Xiao Xiong and Ah Jun also followed flawlessly.

Were you aware that Tom Holland’s line “I don’t wanna go.” In Avengers : Infinity War was ad libbed?

Hua Hua waits for Xiao Man at her house. Hua Hua sees Mister Gao sending Xiao Man home and he even kissed her hand. Hua Hua uncontrollably dashes out and punches Mister Gao, leaving him dumbfounded. Hua Hua does not know how to explain her identity and Xiao Man mistakes her for her cousin from Malaysia. Hua Hua decides to go along with it and settles into Xiao Man’s home.

花花到晓曼家去等她，见到高公子送晓曼回来，还亲吻晓曼的手背，花花忍无可忍冲出来，揍了高公子一拳。高公子感错愕，问花花是谁，花花不知如何回答。

瑞恩新戏《花花公子》上周四首播，至今播出两集，奇幻题材十分吸睛，但也有观众反映剧情设定太像韩剧，特别是黄俊雄扮演的“高公子”角色，“类似韩国的财阀公子”，不贴近本地设定。

另外，因为《花》剧是在第二阶段解封之后拍摄的，背景中的普通路人都有带口罩，有细心观众指：“路人都带口罩，只有剧中人物没有带口罩，看起来有点奇怪。”

不过，该剧目前总体评价褒多于贬，特别是刘玲玲与瑞恩的角色都被认为是一时之选。有观众高度赞赏：“应该没有其他本地女艺人可以演这个角色。”

在接下来的剧集中，瑞恩因为上了包勋评的身，因此与女友陈欣淇有不少对手戏，不少看了超前播放的观众认为瑞恩和陈欣淇的搭配颇有默契，甚至超过了瑞恩与老搭档黄俊雄之间的火花。

有观众反映网络平台一疑当机，没得看。

《花》据同时在电视和网路平台MeWatch播出，但昨天有观众反映在MeWatch追看是没法刷新，看不了前两集。因此瑞恩粉丝会“瑞不可挡”RBKD在网上做了调查，问粉丝“能不能看超过一分钟”，但发现有35%的粉丝表示看不了。

为此，本报已联络新传媒，新传媒表示已将此反馈转交给MeWatch技术组。

RBKD: In an interview with The Straits Times, Rui En describes how having an innate tomboy personality made having to play a vain young woman (Hong Ling’s character) harder, compared to a misogynistic man (Shane Pow’s character). Rui En also shares how the frequent changing of outfits and make-up for three separate characters took time, and even once brought on an allergic reaction.

The article also mentions variety programme Dare To Try, where Rui En follows the lives of five celebrities. Rui En elaborates on an instance where she followed co-star Liu Lingling to give haircuts at old folks’ homes, and her thoughts on cutting a real person’s hair while learning how to give haircuts.

Rui En also shares her thoughts on the sudden passing of her pet cat, as well as her plans on celebrating her 40th birthday this month. When asked whether she feels any anxiety hitting 40, she replies: “It’s not a big deal for me. I know people say actresses have a shelf life, but I think if you have stories to tell and you tell them well, that’s enough.”
