Where There’s A Will, There’s A Rui

RBKD: Half a page is dedicated to Rui En’s cover in Jan 2015 which is art directed by herself. Pic takes up a quarter page and writer’s comment in the other quarter. The writer Jonathan Fam shared how the photographer and Rui En decided to make their way to a coffee shop, not convinced that their earlier shoot was cover material and that ended up with the “most classic 8 DAYS cover for the millennial generation was born”.

新传媒将开拍《警徽天职5》，“上位阿姐”林慧玲将取代“回归女王”瑞恩，担任《警徽5》女主角。

阿哥李南星昨（9月14日）为美食站台，他透露将重返《警徽》团队，在新系列的剧集中继续饰演执法人员。阿哥也是《警徽2》至《警徽4》的男主角，这次再参演《警徽5》，就是连续四部都有份，堪称警方“代言人”。

从《警徽2》一直演到《警徽4》的瑞恩，在上系列剧集播映前，闹出鲁莽驾驶官司，最后除了缺席《警徽4》记者会外，事业停摆销声匿迹一年多。据知，《警徽5》瑞恩将没分演出，改由林慧玲担任女主角。

蛰伏一年多的瑞恩，近期将回归荧幕主演新重头剧《阴错阳差》，饰演摩登阴间使者，《阴》由上位年轻女监制罗温温担任。

另外，《警徽3》《警徽4》都由前新传媒戏剧组主管担任监制，不过张龙敏已在不久前闪电辞职，之前有传张龙敏将以自由身身份接下《警徽5》工作，但《新明日报》日前向他询问时，他却否认。

新传媒戏剧组目前由梁露明接管，统领各组，以她推动“新人新气象”的作风，《警徽5》这个重头剧，相信应该也会交由年轻监制负责。

Rui En and Shaun Chen will be playing a couple in new Ch 8 drama Hello From The Other Side. They are in Mediacorp today to learn how to make latte art for a scene in the show. This is Rui En’s first drama since 2017’s Have a Little Faith. The actress tells us that she’s been living “a very simple, peaceful existence” during her long break. 沉寂1年多的 #瑞恩，终于准备好，结束悠长假期，重新踏上舞台。

这段日子，是如何度过的？“平静、简单、慢。” 她说。

暂别，因为想卸下名人包袱，好好生活，梳理情绪，调整自己。老天始终公平，拿走了一些，也给予了一些。从最高处到最低处，煎熬中，居然找到了快乐的关键。

挫折，让人学会谦卑，学会设身处地，易位思考。善待别人，以及自己。

人生不在于赢，而在于惨败时，是否具备谷底反弹力。

这是她的小小领悟。
