After Dennis Chew’s name was announced during the Top 10 Most Popular Male Artistes category, his jubilation was matched by his female colleagues seated near him.

Viewers saw actresses Rui En and Belinda Lee plant big ones on Chew’s cheek and lips respectively.

Besides winning the Top 10 Most Popular Male Artiste award for the sixth time, which he last won in 2014, Chew and Rui En were conferred with the Toggle Most Beloved Celebrity BFF Award at the Post Show Party. (See other report.)

The award was determined by public voting, as were the popular artistes categories.

RBKD: Toggle lists the coolest ladies in entertainment local and abroad, and weighs in on Rui En, whom they said is “Caldecott Hill’s very own resident ice queen”.

Toggle shared that they have personally experienced and read from many other positive articles that Rui En actually smiles a lot more and is much warmer than her public persona.

Also, Toggle opined that RBKD, “her massive and extremely dedicated fan base” in Toggle’s words, would not be as committed to Rui En if she were anything close to being a mean and frosty diva.

RBKD: Rui En & Zhou Chongqing are nominated for Star Awards 2016’s “Toggle Most Beloved Celebrity BFF Award”. Voting begins on 11 April 2016, 12noon and ends on 24 April 2016, 10pm. The award will be given out during Post-party.

Rui En shared in the interview that not many people can make her laugh besides Chongqing and Aileen Tan, who complained that she was covered in bruises after filming Life is Beautiful with Rui En. She shared that the both of them, especially, can be very obscene and vulgar. As they don’t think before speaking, sometimes my first reaction is to just hit them.
