A herd of dairy cows and lush pastures at Ashgrove dairy farm provided a bucolic backdrop for a Singaporean television production team filming on location in the region for the rest of the week.
The TV production has also been in other locations in the state to film a soap-opera style romantic drama series.
Tourism Tasmania, in conjunction with Tourism Australia, hosted the large scale television production to shoot drama series Sudden, which uses Tasmania as the backdrop to a love story.
The plot follows a young Singaporean couple who meet while travelling separately in Tasmania and fall in love.
They have a multitude of shared experiences that are the time of their lives and very sentimental to their blossoming relationship.
The twist comes when the couple return to Singapore and she begins to lose her memory due to an illness.
He must help her remember their past by reliving their time in Tasmania.
The drama is very much driven by the cultural phenomena of Singaporean mega-stardom.
The lead cast are household names throughout Singapore, China and Malaysia. The actors are small screen megastars with a large fan base.
Sudden will be broadcast as a mini-series on Channel 8 (a 24-hour Chinese news and entertainment channel), the highest rating free-to-air TV station in Singapore.
Sudden éª¤å˜ debuts 2 September 2013 9pm on Channel 8.
