RBKD: In an interview with The New Paper yesterday at the lensing ceremony of Channel 8 cop drama C.L.I.F. 4, Rui En said frankly that she doesn’t look forward to working with babies, animals and calefare (bit-part actors) especially Babies as they do what they want to do. They do not care that the camera is rolling, so it can be difficult.

It is a challenge she will have to undertake for C.L.I.F. 4, in which she reprises her role as Criminal Investigation Department officer Huang Zhijie, whose husband is fellow cop Wei Lantian (Li Nanxing). The pair play parents to a four-month-old infant.

Rui En said of her character: “She has her responsibilities at work and has to handle motherhood.

“It will be interesting to portray the struggle of work-life balance and how to deal with the fatigue… (but she’s still) very professional.

“I have complete respect and admiration for mums.”

What Rui En is looking forward to the most in the new season is filming a fight scene with a female opponent who has martial arts experience. She said: “I haven’t done an action scene in so long. But my dance background should help.”

Rui En also shared about her chemistry with Li Nanxing and how honoured she feels to receive the “All Time Favourite Artiste Award” which is a culmination of blood, sweat and tears.

红星大奖2016“幕后英雄颁奖礼”昨天举行，共颁发10个幕后专业奖项。

今年的红星大奖以全新形式呈现，“十大最受欢迎女艺人”和“超级红星”将在第一场颁发，而幕后专业和技术奖项则改在场外颁发。

昨晚的颁奖礼中，罗温温凭《志在四方2》获颁“最佳导演奖”。

其他奖项包括：

最佳戏剧摄影：黄国钟《信约：我们的家园》

最佳戏剧剪接：潘耀东《志在四方2》

RBKD: 根据Toggle的报道，《红星大奖2016》“最喜爱”奖项网上投选初步成绩出炉，徐彬、欧萱以及欧萱与戚玉武的搭配暂时领先。

今年将是最后一次设立网络投选的“最喜爱男/女角色”和“最喜爱荧幕情侣”奖项。

“最喜爱女角色”方面，前三甲分别由欧萱和瑞恩以及黄碧仁包揽。

至于“最喜爱荧幕情侣”，目前由戚玉武和欧萱（蓝钦辉和赵非儿《志在四方2》在冠军宝座站稳脚步。

瑞恩今年与陈泓宇（张佳和杨美雪《信约：我们的家园》）和戚玉武（蓝钦辉和方彤琳）一同入围该奖项，个别配对排名第二以及第三。

RBKD: According to Toggle, based on results collected at 5pm yesterday, Jeanette Aw is currently in the lead for Favourite Female Character and Favourite Onscreen Couple. If she emerges victorious again, it will be her third consecutive win in both categories.

The second and third positions for Favourite Female Character are held by Rui En’s Fang Tong Lin and Huang Biren’s Guan Xie En respectively.

In a show of split votes, Rui En is placed second and third for Favourite Onscreen Couple: with Shaun Chen in The Journey: Our Homeland and with Qi Yuwu in The Dream Makers 2.
