RBKD: Mothership complimented Rui En’s commitment to her art, for gaining 4kg for her new role as an auntie for Channel 8 drama titled, “If Only I Could…”
Based off Rui En’s interview with Channel 8 News, Rui En admitted that she was worried that her younger fans wouldn’t want to continue supporting her after she gained weight.
She eventually decided to stop worrying and even shared that she will not rush to lose the extra kilograms as she feels that women with curves are more feminine.
Quoting Mothership, “Take a bow, Rui En.”
Mothership also took a jibe at Channel 8 News, claiming that although they were from the same company as Rui En, Channel 8 news uploaded pictures that were less than flattering. Instead, Lianhe Wanbao from media competitor SPH were kinder in their choice of photos uploaded.
