RBKD: MediaCorp has announced the appointment of Mr Cheah Chee Kong as its Chief Content Officer, a newly created position overseeing content strategy and development, including the Studios and The Celebrity Agency.

Mr Cheah has 20 years experience in the media industry and reports to CEO Shaun Seow. The Studios, including Channel 8 Studios, remains headed by Ms Doreen Neo.

RBKD: MediaCorp announced a major reorganisation, focusing more on consumers and their preferences. Main changes are in the Customer group, comprising of specific consumer segments. The Content Group face changes too which involves the restructuring of the artiste management unit to oversee the development and marketing of both TV and radio personalities. The new structure will be effective Apr 1, 2015.

新传媒制作戏剧部今年改朝换代。戏剧部正式交由今年升任高级副总裁的袁树伟接管，从此掀开新页。

2012年，新传媒制作节目发行部兼华文综艺部高级副总裁梁露明被升任执行总经理（前称董事经理），加管戏剧部。她上任后，将戏剧部分成两组，分别由郭令送和新擢升的监制袁树伟领导，让过去被称为“一言堂”的戏剧部恢复两组竞争。这样的安排引起行内人的欢迎，都认为久违的良性竞争，在网络生态打击电视收视的新局面下，可刺激本地剧往前推进。

经过两年的休息生养，本地剧的收视渐渐稳定，没有再出现低迷的数字，或许也和种种不断有贴近时代脉搏的新尝试有关。《我们等你》《对对碰》《花样人间》《志在四方》等剧相继出炉，都获不错口碑，百花齐放。

今年8月郭令送辞职，圈内人预测戏剧部可能仍旧呈现双头马车局面。终于，戏剧部的掌门人选揭晓，新传媒最后的创作与制作大权落在袁树伟身上，张龙敏则是辅助身份。

本报专访了职务已扩大到英文制作、马来文制作与淡米尔文制作加上其他行政部门的梁露明。她说：“我还是主管，但创意上的事由袁树伟主导。”

她说，袁树伟不可能每部剧都亲力亲为，所以胜任执行监制后的张龙敏将为他跟进约一半的制作，再向他汇报。

被问及升级的感想，50岁的袁树伟告诉本报：“我还是喜欢拍戏多些。有时导演没空，我会代班下场去拍，我身上流的是拍戏的血，呵呵！”

形象斯文、寡言的袁树伟德管理作风是怎么样的呢？他说，他会和张龙敏以及负责行政的助理副总裁李春华协商。他也说过往组别分明，不同组的人想合作很难，但现在会灵活处理配对，总之他相信做人要互相尊重。

The overarching theme of life mimicking art underlies this crime drama series, as a slew of murders are carried out in the similar fashion that novelist Di Shen (Christopher Lee) has planned out his fictional crime plots. Investigating officer Zhou Jianfeng (Desmond Tan) and psychologist Qiu Xueqing (Rui En) become deeply involved in the case, and eventually enlist Di Shen’s help to track down the killer.
