RBKD: When Toggle spoke to Dennis Chew in an interview after the lensing ceremony for LOVE 97.2’s musical, he let on that his photo with Rui En taken on Castle Hill, New Zealand was actually taken last year.
It was a birthday trip, their first trip overseas, that was fully paid for by Rui En for his birthday.
The itinerary was single-handedly planned by Rui En, and Dennis mused, “Even though it was a very short trip, we were really happy during the entire vacation. She made arrangements so that when I opened the windows in my hotel room, I’d be able to look out at New Zealand’s most beautiful lake. She probably spent quite a bit on the trip!â€
He let on that he wasn’t upset in the least even though he wasn’t able to celebrate his birthday together with Rui En this year.

RBKD: Sharp-eyed sXs pointed out similarities between the red carpet outfits at the 69th Primetime Emmy Awards and the ones local trendsetting celebs like Rui En etc. have worn to the Star Awards.
Judith Light vs. Rui En (Star Awards 2016)
RBKD: sXs thinks that “Transparent star Judith Light slayed the Emmys red carpet with her killer LBD and thigh-high slit” and reminded one of Rui En’s Thierry Mugler number from Star Awards 2016, “even their lit poses are similar!”
Sandra Lee vs. Rui En (Star Awards 2016)
RBKD: Oh yes, of course we remember Rui En’s bride-esque Romona Keveza gown. sXs mentioned that Sandra Lee’s version also boasts the same cinched waist, generous hemline and toga shoulder detail, wondering “#WhatSorceryIsThis” when even their hairstyles and poses match.

Rui En is back!
RBKD: Toggle’s got their “funny” mode on; describing Rui En as a “rare, wild and very, very precious Pokémon” being sighted back on local shores following an extended break.
Toggle also mentioned that they are glad to report that Rui En looks even more fabulous than ever, and plus points for how happy she looks. They did wonder if that was a glowing tan they spotted on Rui En, what do you think?

Rui En
RBKD: Toggle exclaimed that Rui En’s rarely seen on Instagram these days, so they’re “especially stoked to see her resplendent in this super feminine red chiffon dress and matching red lippie” alongside Dennis Chew and Chew Chor

Singapore Press Holdings plans to divest its 20 per cent stake in Mediacorp TV (which owns Channels 5, 8 and U and Mediacorp Studios) and 40 per cent stake in Mediacorp Press, the publisher of the Today newspaper, for $18 million, the firm said on Friday (Aug 25).
SPH expects to record a writedown of about $31 million in its books. The deal is likely to be completed at the end of September.
The deal comes 12 years after SPH purchased the stakes as part of a media industry asset consolidation in 2005. During the consolidation, SPH transferred a TV channel to Mediacorp and took a 20 per cent stake in Mediacorp TV.
SPH also merged its free newspaper Streats with Today, and invested in a 40 per cent stake in Mediacorp Press.
As part of the deal announced on Friday, Mediacorp will also stop publishing any soft copy or computer-readable format of Today that has the look and feel of a hardcopy version of the newspaper, for a period of five years.
