I would like to chastize you with a stern tone about wasting money………………………..
Life is good today.
The stern chastizing will come when I am feeling more socially conscious……………….!!!!!

Knowing that I never take BTS pix during production, except for the unfortunate banana one, where did these photos materialize from? Xinru’s lovely assistant emailed me some after we wrapped.
This was taken after some rigorous jostling all in the name of filming a shot for the opening. The jostling caused LP’S wig to give up and wanna go home. In the pic you clearly see that she is trying to persuade it to do otherwise.
My expression of sheer delight is exactly the same as in a pic taken when I was 5 yrs old looking at ice cream.
Sorry you guys had to q overnight!
Lots more pix to come!
En.

Japan’s top casual-wear brand, Uniqlo, held a private preview of its latest store for more than 420 invited guests, media and partners on Wednesday evening.
Boasting approximately 20,000 sqft, the Japanese retailer’s two-storey outfit is housed at Bugis+, formerly known as Iluma.
The store will officially open to the public on Friday.
The preview event, hosted by Anita Kapoor, saw performances by local bands Jack and Rai and members of Sixx.
A lucky draw was held, where guests won vouchers and the top prize of a trip for two to visit any Uniqlo store in the world.
Local artistes Rui En, Joanne Peh, Qi Yiwu and brand ambassador Rebecca Lim were among the celebrities who lent their star power to the event.

Who is Singapore’s top actor?
It is not Fann Wong, Zoe Tay or Qi Yuwu.
According to Sarcount, a newly launched online entertainment chart which measures popularity by social media engagement, Leon Jay Williams takes the top spot.
Starcount taps the top 11 social networks to gauge a celebrity’s popularity. This includes networks such as Facebook and Twitter that are familiar here, and the Chinese-language RenRen and Weibo networks that have a far stronger presence outside Singapore.
To measure popularity, the engine looks through the number of followers and fans on a brand’s or star’s social media account. Fan engagement is also taken into consideration, depending on how many fans have shared the brand’s or celebrity’s social network updates.
Personalities are also rated by how often they engage their fans through conversations on these social networks.
On the Singapore Actors chart, Williams is followed closely by Fann Wong, Huang Jinglun, Rui En and Jeanette Aw, actors more familiar to audiences here because they feature in local productions.

Des-tined for the big time
Desmond now resembles a darker, hotter Qi Yuwu – how’s that for climbing the celeb ladder? He has also muscled his way into Ch 8’s elite club of twenty-something leading men mature enough to romance the likes of Jeanette Aw and Joanne Peh. It’s a group so exclusive (or should we say elusive) that its current membership totals two: Dai Yangtian and Elvin Ng. Well, three now, since Desmond is romancing Rui En in his next drama, Poetic Justice, which starts filming this month.
Poetic Justice 微笑æ£ä¹‰ debuts 11 September 2012 9pm on Channel 8.

Who is more popular in Singapore’s social media space – singer Stefanie Sun, actress Rui En or Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong?
Singapore–based firm All The Worlds Entertainment (ATWE) believes their new multi-genre social media aggregating tool, starcount, will be able to provide the answer to that question.
What starcount does is draw data from 11 major social media networks like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and China’s Sina Weibo, process it, and assign a starcount score to the various entities in the social media space via a weighted formula in real time – taking into account their popularity and the amount of engagement they generate among social media users.
This processed data is then organised, updated daily and presented in thousands of charts available over the website starcount.com.
So just who is more popular among Singapore’s social media users? Is it Sun, Rui En or the Prime Minister?
According to starcount, Singapore singer Sun is most popular, with the Prime Minister trailing behind at the 52nd spot in its Singapore popularity chart, followed by Rui En in 66th position.
