RBKD: In an informal poll conducted by I-Weekly, readers are asked to vote for their preferred winners for Best Actor and Best Actress at this year’s Star Awards. The poll is done via Facebook and each individual may only vote once.

Rui En received astounding support of 83.5% votes to become I-Weekly readers’ choice of Best Actress this year. I-Weekly suggested that the results were expected as Rui En attempted her first villian role in “Against The Tide”.

However, I-Weekly also wondered if the result was due to her massive fan base’s support or a recognition by the masses of her as an actress with real substance (实力派).

戏里叫人别乱吃，戏外的瑞恩是美食爱好者，“我很容易胖，但人生短暂，不过我喜欢运动，这个就是平衡点。”她期待去槟城、怡保拍《信约》，预料届时会被美食诱惑而发福。

RBKD: Rui En shared that she visited a NKF dialysis centre prior to filming as part of her preparatory work. She cringed and felt for the patients when she witnessed needles being inserted for dialysis purposes. However, she did not tear or explicitly express sympathy as she felt the need to show them the respect; she opined that even if one were to tear, it should be behind their backs as the patients would rather be treated with dignity and not sympathy. We totally agree with Rui En on this and salute her for it.

Rui En also shared in the video on how she has the tendency of hitting people who makes her laugh and how she would only hit the ones whom she likes/ is comfortable with.

RBKD: Besides the nomination list, I-Weekly collated 3 main areas of focus to note, including the returning of Felicia Chin in victorious manner with her nomination in Best Actress. I-Weekly opined that Felicia’s rape scenes in “The Journey: Turmultous Times” is a traditional crowd-pleaser with the judges and has chances of winning as a result. However, they added that before she can achieve that, she will face two hurdles in Rui En, who plays a villian role in “Against The Tide” for the first time, and in Joanne Peh, who was complimented for her always steady and reliable performance in C.L.I.F.3.

前天，《红星大奖2015》入围名单出炉，白薇秀“婚孕旺旺”，凭《警徽天职3》和《信约：动荡的年代》分别入围“最佳女主角”和“最佳女配角”，多喜临门，老公戚玉武也入围“最佳男主角”。

让人跌眼镜的，是欧萱今年仅入围“最喜爱女角色”和“最喜爱荧幕情侣”，让不少粉丝为她叫屈。

陈凤玲重回新传媒备受力捧，回巢第一部戏就入围“最佳女主角”，同样入围“最佳女主角”的林慧玲也是今年受到力捧的女将。

两届视后瑞恩入围“最佳女主角”、“最喜爱女角色”和“最喜爱荧幕情侣”。她曾表示满意自己在《逆潮》里的表现，对于入围她说：“只要有突破，并且能带给观众震撼，我已经很满足，得不得奖无所谓，也没有去想胜算如何。”

最佳男主角方面，瑞恩表示看好陈泓宇，“他表现自然又不失水准。”

《红星大奖2015》入围名单昨天出炉，白薇秀、戚玉武去年9月9日结婚后，不久前传将当父母，白薇秀婚孕旺旺，今年凭《警徽天职3》和《信约：动荡的年代》双料入围“最佳女主角”和“最佳女配角”，多喜临门。

“最喜爱荧幕情侣”相信已是这对银色夫妻囊中物。

不过，最让人跌眼镜的，是去年《红星》视后大热门欧萱，最后遭陈莉萍截糊，失掉“最佳女主角”，今年她又跌出视后入围名单。她今年仅入围“最喜爱女角色”和“最喜爱荧幕情侣”。今年欧萱也将和赖怡伶一起拿“超级红星”正式上神台，未来没机会再进“10大”，去年又走失夺视后最佳时机，不少粉丝和网友都纷纷为她叫屈。

欧萱在《球在你脚下》和《动荡》有举足轻重的演出，不过却被刷出局。陈凤玲重回新传媒反备受力捧，尽管在《动荡》中的演绎一般但马上入围“最佳女主角”，林慧玲也是今年受到力捧的女将。也有网友质疑，林湘萍在《球》里充其量只是女配角戏份，但为何能入围“最佳女主角”，让人莫名其妙。

‘自家人’占优势？观众质疑评审标准

名为Josh.T的读者看到入围名单后，电邮本报表达看法。他说：“看了入围名单感到很意外。实力派黄碧仁因为合约而不能入围红星大奖最佳女主角，真的很可惜。同样的，欧萱也成了本届的遗珠。比起同剧的陈凤玲差劲演技，欧萱的表现获得观众和媒体的赞赏，展现了成熟的演技，她的角色内敛不张扬，让人回味。她比一些入围者更应该获得提名。对于其他奖项的名单也觉得莫名其妙，真的是没眼看！”

《红星》一向来被质疑内定，只“益”自家人，今年很多自家新人如黄思恬和与转签新传媒的冯伟衷，都有许多演出机会，也“顺势”入围了“最佳男女配角”和“最佳新人”。
