RBKD: Rui En won her tenth and final Top 10 Most Popular Female Artistes award and will receive an All-Time Favourite Artistes award next year. She felt “a sense of relief” as her fans no longer have to vote for her in the future.
“I like my fans to save as much money as they can and I don’t like them to spend too much on voting. I am just very glad I’ve graduated and so have my fans. And I’m looking forward to a new phase in my life and my career,” said Rui En.
When asked to comment on the various reports about her facial expressions at past years’ Star Awards, Rui En said, “Unfortunately I was born with a face, which, when not smiling looks angry, angsty and ‘blackfaced’. The only way to get around this problem is to get plastic surgery to look like The Joker. My personality and my face gel together. I laugh when I feel like laughing and I don’t laugh when nothing is funny. And unfortunately, when I don’t laugh people misinterpret it as a black and smelly face.”

Show 1 will be telecast live from the MediaCorp Television Theatre from 7pm on Apr 19 on Channel 8. Walk of Fame red carpet segment, Show 2 as well as the Post-show Party will be telecast live from the same venue from 5pm on Apr 26 on Channel 8.

RBKD: C.L.I.F. 3 is the second most-watched local 9pm drama in 2014, with an average of 1.04 million viewers a night. There was a general increase in viewership for Channel 8 dramas, with the Top 10 dramas recording at least 930,000 viewers on average per night. In comparison, last year’s top drama, C.L.I.F. 2, had an average viewership of 901,000 a night.

RBKD: MediaCorp announced a major reorganisation, focusing more on consumers and their preferences. Main changes are in the Customer group, comprising of specific consumer segments.
