Taiwanese singer A-Lin calls herself a fan of Rui En’s “sweet yet tough voice”

RBKD: Toggle interviewed Taiwanese pop singer A-Lin when she was in town for the Starker Music Carnival 2017 last weekend. Besides her own songs, A-Lin also performed her rendition of ‘Hate It’, which was originally sung by Rui En in 2002.

According to Toggle, A-Lin also revealed that she had admired Rui En’s since the latter’s singing debut, praising Rui En’s “sweet yet tough voice”. She also shared with Toggle why she chose this song (read this on Toggle).

Although the two parties have not met, A-Lin said that she would “continue to support Rui En” even if Rui En’s current career focus is on acting instead of singing.

“天生歌姬”A-Lin表示欣赏本地花旦瑞恩的甜美嗓音，坦言不希望女儿像以前的她荒废学业。

RBKD: 台湾“天生歌姬”A-Lin（黄丽玲）上周末访新为Stärker音乐嘉年华唱足一小时。除了演唱自己的歌曲，A-Lin也特别选唱本地花旦瑞恩的歌曲《讨厌》。

A-Lin之前参与中国音乐电视节目《蒙面唱将猜猜猜》就选唱了瑞恩的这首歌，当时也有粉丝第一时间通知RBKD上微博观看，因为Youtube 还没上载。

日前A-Lin接受Toggle专访时不禁大赞：“她(瑞恩)的歌声很甜美，也很tough但是不失女生的性感。”

两人私下没见过面，但A-Lin知道瑞恩是以歌手身份出道，“现在转换跑道，是很棒的演员”。

这次访新选唱《讨厌》，A-Lin说：“这首歌的旋律很好记，觉得女生本来就应该爱自己多一点。那时候听了这首歌，觉得很符合现在自己作为女生想要的感觉，就是比较自我。”

RBKD: When Toggle spoke to Dennis Chew in an interview after the lensing ceremony for LOVE 97.2’s musical, he let on that his photo with Rui En taken on Castle Hill, New Zealand was actually taken last year.

It was a birthday trip, their first trip overseas, that was fully paid for by Rui En for his birthday.

The itinerary was single-handedly planned by Rui En, and Dennis mused, “Even though it was a very short trip, we were really happy during the entire vacation. She made arrangements so that when I opened the windows in my hotel room, I’d be able to look out at New Zealand’s most beautiful lake. She probably spent quite a bit on the trip!”

He let on that he wasn’t upset in the least even though he wasn’t able to celebrate his birthday together with Rui En this year.

瑞恩招待周崇庆到新西兰旅行

RBKD: 周崇庆在Love97.2音乐剧发布会与媒体分享去年与瑞恩一起到新西兰旅行时的细节。

去年周崇庆43岁生日，瑞恩招待他到新西兰展开5天4夜之旅，并支付所有开销。两人是因合作《志在四方》而关系亲似家人。

除了为周崇庆亲手烘生日蛋糕，瑞恩也安排相关行程。

“她烘的巧克力蛋糕非常浓郁，甜而不腻，超好吃！ 我很幸运，因她那时候刚开始下厨，她第一次煎的scrambled egg（西式炒嫩蛋）也是给我吃，好开心，哈哈！”

“她知道我喜欢电影《The Chronicles of Narnia》，事前不让我知道，蒙住我的眼睛把我带到电影的拍摄现场，看新西兰最漂亮的地方。”

“虽然只是短短的5天4夜，整个旅程很开心，她安排我住的酒店房间窗口一打开，就能看到新西兰最美的湖，估计她花了不少钱。”

周崇庆今年生日未和瑞恩一起度过，但他并不为此而难过。

Rui En is back!

RBKD: Toggle’s got their “funny” mode on; describing Rui En as a “rare, wild and very, very precious Pokémon” being sighted back on local shores following an extended break.

Toggle also mentioned that they are glad to report that Rui En looks even more fabulous than ever, and plus points for how happy she looks. They did wonder if that was a glowing tan they spotted on Rui En, what do you think?
