Fans have until Apr 29 to vote for their favourite stars to win at the upcoming Star Awards 2012

After a month of enthusiastic voting from fans of various artistes in the Top 40 Most Popular polls, we bring you the latest results (as of 2pm, today).

This year, the results of Top 10 Most Popular Male/Female Artistes awards will combine 50% of telepoll voting and 50% of online voting, a first in the awards’ history.

Ranking in the Top 10 Most Popular Female Artistes award now are Ann Kok, Cynthia Koh, Jeanette Aw, Joanne Peh, Lin Pei Fen, Paige Chua, Pan Ling Ling, Rebecca Lim, Rui En, Vivian Lai, Yvonne Lim and Zhou Ying.

There are 12 nominees for the Top 10 Most Popular Female Artistes award, due to a tie in this week’s results.

On the actual show night, should a tie occur, the final Top 10 will be determined via results from an earlier survey.

Telepoll lines for the Top 10 Most Popular Male/Female Artistes awards is opened from Mar 15 to Apr 29, 2012, 9pm; online voting commenced on Mar 16, and will end on Apr 29, 2012. Results will be announced on Star Awards 2012 Show 2, which will be held on Apr 29.
