Taiwanese singer A-Lin calls herself a fan of Rui En’s “sweet yet tough voice”

RBKD: Toggle interviewed Taiwanese pop singer A-Lin when she was in town for the Starker Music Carnival 2017 last weekend. Besides her own songs, A-Lin also performed her rendition of ‘Hate It’, which was originally sung by Rui En in 2002.

According to Toggle, A-Lin also revealed that she had admired Rui En’s since the latter’s singing debut, praising Rui En’s “sweet yet tough voice”. She also shared with Toggle why she chose this song (read this on Toggle).

Although the two parties have not met, A-Lin said that she would “continue to support Rui En” even if Rui En’s current career focus is on acting instead of singing.
