We have been blessed.

They say donating & volunteering are acts of giving, but actually, we are the ones who have gained.

My members shared with me how much they have enjoyed the volunteering experience, that they have learnt so much from the elderly and how they were so inspired by them too.

For myself, it must be the people and the little moments.

That moment,
when you see the CNY deco from us last year,
still proudly displayed on the elderly’s doors.

That moment,
when the elderly folks remember us as the anonymous group,
who have been visiting them with CNY goodies yearly.

Words can’t describe the immense sense of satisfaction.

And my lovely volunteers, what more can I say.

No one knew Rui En was joining,
not my members,
not Xinmsn.

No one knew Xinmsn was joining,
not my members,
not Rui En.

Only I do,
but still,
they all came,
and that says a lot about them.
