This post is not for the easily queasy or faint-hearted.
Another day, another bad landing, another swollen and blue toe, many ice packs.
But the interesting part of this experience was the “fang xue” that the zhong yi I went to do for me for the first time in my life.
The closest english interpretation I can come up with is bloodletting. Which of course brings up images in my mind of medieval England and their so-called medical practices, which almost invariably ended up with the demise of the patient.
The good news is that after the so-called bad blood or blood clot was squeezed out, the blue toe has turned various shades of brown and yellow. Which I suppose warrants a hurrah.
Next stunt scene is on Monday, any prayers would be appreciated.
