In With You, Adrian Pang and Rui En give worthy performances.

In the real Singapore, like it or not, the languages the average person is most proficient and poetic in might be the coffee shop Chinese and Singlish.

On to With You, the Channel 8 Drama which is coincidentally, about being neither here nor there.

Part paranormal family-values fantasy, part odd-couple comedy and part weepie, it tracks a plumber (Adrian Pang) and a ghost (Chen Hanwei) whose lives are linked up in a road accident.

Somehow Chen’s unearthly character is zapped into Pang’s cellphone and somehow, the former browbeats the latter into looking after his family.

Implausible as it is, the drama is driven by genuine unease at road safety and the Singapore dream of car ownership. The good guys, Pang and Chen, are rather responsible drivers. The bad guy is Nat Ho, a reckless driver who stops at nothing to buy a flashy car.

Keeping it real, too, are the actors. Chen Shucheng and Rui En are understated as Chen Hanwei’s grieving father and gentle widow.

With You, weekdays, 9pm. 3 out of 5 stars.

(新加坡讯) 女艺人都怕发胖，但瑞恩为了在新剧里演女警，不惜增肥3公斤。
新传媒公主瑞恩目前忙于8频道新剧《最火搭档》的拍摄。她在剧里饰演一名为了破案而不择手段的女警官胡小曼。

为了增添说服力，身材瘦削的她决定向健身教练请教如何长肌肉。但健身教练告诉她，要长肌肉，就得多吃一点，增肥几公斤。

她接受新传媒网站xinmsn访问时坦言，她起初很抗拒。“你知道女生嘛，我们看到这个（体重）数字一增加就很怕，而且很抗拒！”

不过，她过后决定为拍戏而牺牲。“如今增肥得相当成功，至今已胖了两叁公斤。”

她增磅的方式就是多吃食物和补品。另外她也在空余时间就往健身房跑，多加勤练体能。

“多吃我没问题，反正我本身就是挺喜欢吃的。”

瑞恩刚加入娱乐圈时的身材其实十分圆润，但她近年来积极减肥，身材一度十分瘦削，还被观众批评为瘦骨如柴。

买保险要加武打戏

瑞恩要求在剧里增加武打镜头，而且要自己买保险，愿意冒险！

一向爱在戏里挑战极限的瑞恩说，她主动向监製要求：“可不可以加多一点动作戏？”因为她觉得这样做会让电视剧更精彩。

“我觉得观众会喜欢看动作戏，我也觉得自己蛮适合这种动作片。”

起初，製作单位因担心演员的安危，不敢随意多加动作戏。“但我告诉监製，我会自己搞定我的保险……。受伤我不怕，我知道这是一个必要的冒险，我很愿意去做。”

(新加坡讯) 一向酷酷的瑞恩，在《最火搭档》中饰演冷峻的女警探，将她考倒的不是连番打鬥动作和追逐场面，而是剧本中大段大段的台词。
瑞恩说，《最》开拍2星期来，她快要疯掉，半夜还会突然惊醒，惊讶自己为何穿著睡衣拍戏？！

日有所思夜有所梦，一向好戏的瑞恩就说，《最》台词术语多多很难背，是继《过好年》之后，另一部让她快抓狂的剧。“我会睡到一半惊醒，然后慌张地想自己为什么会穿这睡衣拍戏，然后以为有摄影机在拍，哈哈。”

对婚姻没有期待

《最》男主角郑斌辉不久前就被爆早在5月5日就已经悄悄申请註册结婚，瑞恩在《最》中暗恋郑斌辉，但基于自尊心，她迟迟未向心仪的男人示爱。

得知郑斌辉即将走红地毯，瑞恩为搭档感到高兴，换作是自己也会希望尽量低调。“不过我也知道身为公众人物，很难避免被人家发现。”她说。

对感情事宜一向叁缄其口的瑞恩，坦言自己对婚姻态度始终保留。

“可能是我的家庭背景（单亲家庭）和环境，我始终觉得不一定要一纸婚书来證明两个人相爱。”

瑞恩拍戏求好心切，不仅主动向剧组要求增加动作戏，还欲自掏腰包购 买意外保险！

新传媒公主瑞恩今年可说是工作排满满，连续接下3部电视剧。除了年初的《过好年》和热播中的《我在你左右》外，她目前忙于8频 道新剧《最火搭档》的拍摄。

该剧以警匪为题材，瑞恩扮演为了破案而不择手段的女警胡小曼，与阿姐陈莉萍有不少对手戏。其他主要演员包括陈邦 鋆、郑斌辉、周颖等。

xinmsn日前去《最火搭档》外景探班，剧组正在赶拍瑞恩在医院追捕反派山番（郑各评饰）的一场戏。

谈到这部新戏，瑞恩直呼：”可不可以加多一点动作？！

增加动作戏 买保险愿后果自负
原来，早在《最》开拍前，瑞恩已与监制在讨论剧本的会议上主动提出想增加动作戏。她认为，这是必要的一件事，而且会提升该剧的可看性。

瑞恩解释：”这（动作戏）是观众会喜 欢看的东西，而且我觉得不单是我喜欢，我还蛮适合这种动作的东西。”

瑞恩 与郑各评在《最火搭档》中有对手戏。

起初制作单位因担心演员的安危，不敢随意多加动作戏，让瑞恩感到可惜，但她仍不放弃。

她认真叙述：”我直接跟他（监制）说，再危险，我会自己做的，然后我会自己搞定我的保险…受伤我不怕，我知道这是 一个必要的冒险，我很愿意去做。”

或许诚意打动了制作组，最后瑞恩如愿以偿，剧本因她要求，多加了一场瑞恩的跳楼戏。
记者问，为何要冒这危险，不用替身？

她说：”可能我拍戏喜欢go all the way，无论在《我》的感情戏或小咚（《过》中瑞恩饰演的角色）的那些傻傻的东西，我希望说我可以push all the way。”

为戏多吃 增重3公斤
因剧情要求，瑞恩将在戏中有不少需要体力的戏分，让她得知后开始担心自己体力无法胜任。

于是，她在空余时间就往健身房跑，多加勤练体能，甚至还逼 自己多吃补品和多吃东西，至今已胖了2、3公斤。

瑞恩笑说：”你知道女生嘛，我们看到这个数字一增加，我们很怕的，而且很抗拒！”

然 而，苗条的她虽担心身材走样，但仍坚持多吃，为的是希望多长些肌肉。

拍《最》压力大 睡觉时幻想被拍
早前《我在你左右》的记者会中，瑞恩就曾自爆拍戏拍到精神分裂，差点有要疯掉的感觉。

而继上一部剧所受的精神折磨，瑞恩的恶梦仍延续在《最》新 戏中。

她坦言：”因为戏角色是个Madam，所以台词非常多，而且不是口语话的台词，所以我压力真的很大。”

压力大到影响生 活作息吗？

瑞恩透露，”拍场景时，我会睡着作恶梦，觉得有人在拍我，我惊醒时就很紧张！”

《最火搭档》预计8月通过8频道播出。

These few nights alone, the 9pm drama ‘With You 我在你左右’ registered huge jump in the number of viewers making it the most-watched drama to date in 2010! What do you like most about this drama?

Chen Han Wei 陈汉玮 demonstrated how he could still emote so well without even moving much. This 4-time Best Actor knows how to impress in the craft. Naysayers might have attributed his past winning scores to exaggerated imaging. He has proven them wrong with yet another oustanding performance doing the opposite here.

She was that silly gal in ‘Happy Family 过好年’ jut a few months ago. She jumped out of that role and became the sorrowful widow in ‘With You’. My colleague said she cried whenever she saw Rui En 瑞恩 crying in the drama. That itself is a compliment as she is someone quite familiar with Rui En as a star, yet she could actually feel pain for the character played by Rui En!

Adrian Pang 彭耀顺 has a lot of 观众缘, he is very watchable in every scene. Like Chen Han Wei, he is one of those rare artistes who know exactly how to expand the scope of a role. Put the two together and you get hooked to the television.

Brandon Wong 黄烔耀 and May Phua 潘竖卿 also put up subtle yet outstanding performances. Brandon once told me how he would play the role well – by being naturally understated without overpowering others in the same scene with him. It is easy for any seasoned artiste to ’steal’ a scene yet he opted for being subtle. By giving the limelight to others, Brandon comes alive as the character! The same also happened to a very different May Phua. She is no longer loud and hard, and you could somehow feel her softness and sensitivity as she played her role.

This is one drama where the artistes are truly at the best of their crafts. Jacelyn Tay 郑秀珍 said in her press interview that it was pure enjoyment watching Chen Han Wei in any drama. Multiply that compliment for the rest of the stars in ‘With You’ and it is no miracle why so many viewers have fallen in love with the drama…

“七公主”在后期的评比中，有媒体指她的企图心不强，造成事业上停滞不前。她却不太同意这个说法。“我不知道企图心是指什么，是有公司的人讲过我出席类似记者会的场合时，好像随便穿一件衣服就去，不太尊重场合似的。”

记者想起有一次《未来不是梦》的记者会，刘芷绚穿得还可以，但是跟另一个女主角瑞恩更有星味的装扮比起来，她明显就被比下去。那次的印象一直牢记在记者脑海，思考是否背后的经理人照顾不周的问题。

她继续说：“可是对我来说，我不会把打扮想成是企图心。我在同一辈的艺人之中，态度还是比较积极的。我只能承认我没有强烈的时尚感，毕竟我也是入行后才开始喜欢打扮的。”
