More than 12,000 overseas Singaporeans flocked in from all over Europe on 25 Apr to experience the Singapore culture in Hampton Court Palace, London.

Organised by the Overseas Singaporean Unit, Singapore Day 2009, which was in its third year, had Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Wong Kan Seng as the guest of honour.

Keeping the crowds entertained with songs and witty exchanges were artistes Jack Neo, Mark Lee, Henry Thia, Rui En and Taufik Batisa. And Hossan Leong, together with the Dim Sum Dollies, comprising Selena Tan, Emma Yong and Pamela Oei, evoked much laughter from the captivated audience with their mix of song, dance and satirical dialogue.

李南星（中）与２公主。

李南星为拍摄《双子星》，消瘦了5公斤。

“我现在是72公斤，朋友都说我这样的状态最好，所以我很希望今后能保持这样的体重。”他笑说。

说起会为戏消瘦，李南星说，那是因为拍得很赶，“我们2月开拍，5月就要出街了。”。

和南星通电话时，他正在马国的边加兰拍摄外景，“之前我们去了澳门，之后有出公海拍摄，真的可以说马不停蹄。”

不过，晒得一身黑的南星，上星期六还是赶到高岛屋，出席他代言的化妆品牌IZU活动。

“因为我是这个品牌的男性代言人，已经当了很多年了，所以无论如何要抽空赶来。”

和年轻一辈的欧萱和瑞恩一起出场，南星说自己是大哥哥的感觉。

拍摄工作非常频密

南星是该产品的首位本地代言人，现在两位“公主”的加入，确实让南星有大哥哥的感觉。

两位公主都是‘红星’的热门，这位大哥哥说，“两位小妹妹都有各自不同的魅力。”

对于本星期天举行的“红星大奖颁奖典礼”，南星说，他因为拍戏，所以就不能出席了。

Can’t believe you guys got to True Colours at 10am – am sure u guys behaved yourself right? There’re already too many problems in the world, if you know what I mean *wink* Anyway am sure u guys amused yourselves by practising your acting skills. Again. LOL. Think next year some of you can go join Star Search.

Thanks to those who shelled out for the makeup too. Remember to do spend within your budgeted means. And I do mean even for Star Awards. Please.

Was very nice seeing u guys again after awhile. Hope you enjoy the new show. The character, if you think closely about it, stands for the innermost beliefs of many parents, educators, even the whole system system. Watch, think, and you’ll understand what I mean.

It was incredibly interesting to find out about the workings of the Singaporean education system, and I do now consider teaching an extremely important profession. Yes, I sound like an MOE advocate, but I have complete respect for those who do it with the right intentions.

I can’t even begin to express how much I’m looking forward to my trip. Except to resort to becoming an 8 year-old for just a second : YIPPEE! And ……….YAI – YAY! Ok I think I’ve got that one out of my system.

Do take care of yourselves and see you when I see you.

“十大最受欢迎女艺人”排行榜方面，综艺大姐大权怡风暂时“回魂无望”，高妹公主刘芷绚保住刚得来不易的一席之位。其它榜中的女艺人也没有出现大变动，看来粉丝群打算一鼓作气，一路保送她们进入星期天颁奖礼的最后一刻。

‘10大最受欢迎男女艺人’目前的电话投选成绩出现新局面，暂时排名在‘10大最受欢迎男女艺人’排行榜内的艺人有（排名不分先后）：

陈靓瑄、谢宛谕、李锦梅、欧萱、刘芷绚、白薇秀、瑞恩、赖怡伶、向云、林湘萍

排行榜的排名不分先后，公众电话投选占总积分百分之五十，其余的五十来自早前由调查公司为入围新传媒艺人所做出的民意调查成绩决定。

“10大最受欢迎男女艺人”’结果将在4月26日晚上7时，8频道现场直播的【红星大奖2009颁奖典礼】中揭晓，公众电话投选活动将持续到当天晚上9时为止。

最新一期的畅销娱乐生活杂志《优1周》，邀请新加坡报业控股旗下华文平面媒体娱乐记者票选最喜爱与最不喜爱采访的艺人，结果如下：

5大最不受媒体欢迎女艺人：欧萱、瑞恩、谢宛谕、庄米雪、姚懿珊。

《优1周》要求参与票选各家媒体记者，根据本届红星大奖20大最受欢迎男女艺人名单投票，意即不在名单中的艺人不能被提名。

综观艺人当选的各种理由，不外乎与媒体记者的配合度与互动性、本身谈吐深度与幽默感、个性坦率度与真诚度等。

不受欢迎——“红毛派”与经纪约艺人

在最不受媒体欢迎的艺人方面，“红毛派”的方展发、葛米星都上榜。“七公主”中有4个上榜，难道比较年轻的女艺人都“不会做人”？必须指出的是，3 个由新传媒制作之外负责经纪约的艺人——欧萱、瑞恩、姚懿珊都上榜了，反观与新传媒签经纪约的陈靓瑄则被媒体欢迎，这其中是否有值得艺人与经纪公司好好检讨的空间？
