Back to the truth and honesty topic, question today is, is there a need to reveal the whole truth and nothing but the whole of it all?
In photography, perhaps sometimes what makes a sight pretty may not be the scene itself or just the photographer’s skills or the so-called, The Eye. Sometimes it’s a lot to do with “Framing”, to omit unimportant details or rather, ugly sights and to focus on what matters.
So is there a need to reveal the wholesome truth if partial truth suffices? Yea I have the habit of revealing everything, and then realising it made the whole truth less pretty. So what about you?

Q: Why do artistes like to have their birthday celebrations at SG Flyer?
A1: _______________ (Fill in your oh-so-typical TYS type of standard answers)
A2: Because they can be trapped in there for the whole 30minutes, or 3hours if the Flyer got stuck and you need to abseil down. No more “we are leaving in 10” kind of time frame.
A3: Because there’s only so much or so little space, there’s no room for hush-hush-other-agendas type of talks. Hip hip hooray!
My Conclusion? I think it is an absolutely smart move that I should KIV, right? Haha. Just for laughs :D
Is it good for me to be truthful to you? I don’t know.
But I don’t think it is good when I stop being truthful to you; because that means I have given up on you.
I won’t lie to someone who doesn’t matter, simply because they are not worth it.
Similarly, I see no point to reveal the truth deliberately should you be no longer worthy of it.
If being truthful hurts, I wonder if it would hurt more should someone stop being truthful to you?
What do you guys think? I’m pretty random isn’t it?

Who are the ones whom you wish to be honest to?
Who are the ones whom you wish would be honest with you?
We have been told that true friends are those who are honest with us, but face it, we don’t exactly want the whole world to be honest with us.
Sometimes truth is so ugly, we are unwilling to let others know, much less to be revealed by those who ain’t close enough to be fitting of the role.
But at times, truth notified by our closer ones makes it more difficult to swallow, simply because its hurting to know it hurts them just to let you know.
Do you rather truth be revealed by someone who matters or by someone who don’t? Are you sure you are the right person to reveal the truth? Perhaps you are not?
The ugly truth that makes truth hurts; the hurting truth that makes truth ugly. Just how honest should we be?
Don’t you think that blogging is all Physics?
Well at least you need the momentum to carry on and inertia basically makes it difficult for you to continue blogging after going on a blogging hiatus.
What do you guys think?
What if one day I wake up and forget about everything, including you and you and.. who I am. Ever wondered about this?
What does National Day means to you?
Donning red tops, hanging flags or reciting the pledge?
I’m never a NDP person, my closest involvements remained 1. the compulsory P5-er’s NDP experience, 2. when I was ran on the fields of the pre-parade back in Sec1 days and 3. when I went for the rehearsal which never gave any funpack or fired any fireworks.
Those talks about propaganda and soft deterrence, I shall skip on that. But even if you were never in that hotter-than-hot audience seat during each 9th August like myself, don’t you feel momentarily overwhelmed when the nation comes to a still each time the “Majulah Singapura” is played? The proud faces of people who probably last sang the National Anthem some decades ago?
To wear red and to sing aloud “Majulah Singapura” with thousands of red warriors, it’s a fantastic feeling isn’t it? So no wonder even if I don’t follow soccer, I like to do down to the Kallang National Stadium (as long as its not charging exorbitant fees for exhibition matches) in red to support our Lions especially in ASEAN Cup. Honestly, it feels more NDP than NDP there. After all, you do need to be part of the kallang wave to understand what is a kallang wave :)

So does it?
We all know that lizards can lose their tails and regrow it, but previously, I never thought that would hurt them.
I mean if something is so easily lost, it can’t be precious enough to hurt much isn’t it? And if nature designed lizards in such a way that they could escape death by losing their tail, why would it still hurt? But so as it seems, when nature designs something, they don’t give you anything extra without taking thing(s) away. So when it returned the lizards their tails, nature make them suffer the pain. It’s a gain to them, to escape death, but the pain must be incurred.
Sometimes, we ought to care more for the ones around us. Just because they can regrow their “tails” doesn’t mean it won’t hurt. Right?

Now, I have stuff to write but no energy to type.
Tomorrow, I will have the energy to type but no stuff to write.
I doubt I will remember what I wanna type, but this is life isn’t it? It takes both hands to clap, but while in your heart you wanna give your loudest clap, sometimes one of your hands has to be “unavailable”.
So you will hear a clap when both my hands are available, and when I remember to clap that is… Haha.
You make a comment because that’s what you feel, that’s what you wanna say. It’s not because you are XXX or YYY or ZZZ that makes you want to have such a comment, although at times, your “identity” might force you to see a need to post a comment when in fact, the “identity-less” you may not feel necessary.
So often, I just wanna post this, I just wanna post that, but most of the time, I will just click “ctrl+A” and then “delete”. Why? Because people will see me as RBKD’s President, because people will see me as a RE’s fan. I am just myself, I don’t always have to represent everyone, every fan of RE’s; I rather take back my words than to make my words yours. Because it’s plain simple, it’s MY words not YOUR words that I’m typing.

Some things change and others don’t, but perhaps at times, they all do?
While we are dragged along by changes, gripping and adapting to the changes, let us not forget the beliefs we once held, the reasons, explanations and excuses we conjured just to make things sound right and logical.
But honestly, we are often powerless in front of changes. Prevention is perhaps really better than cure, but we never know if we don’t try.
Finally they are back to me, like FINALLY? These certs mean a lot to me, these people work together with me till wee hours as though its a norm, they work under “me” to ensure that our website and Youtube channel is not just up and functioning, but absolutely attractive enough to draw your return hits day after day.
Without them, I’m nothing; without them, we are all nothing. This is why these certs mean a great deal to me, there’s nothing else I could do for them, only so much, so little. A pity (huge pity in fact) that I could not get the certs ready back before the chalet, I had so wanted to thank them in front of you guys. There’s no need to hide my appreciation for them isn’t it?
But as that cliché line which I absolutely detest goes, “better late than never.” Thanks girls!
Come come come.. in the event that the forum is *touchwood touchmetal touchwater touchair notouchfire* not up and running in future, feel free to come in here and talk nonsense. What happened? IDK! Maybe the virtual world has a new H1N1 strain too.. haha..
Anyway haven’t you heard about it? She’s on the cover for Elle magazine.. I heard that the photos inside showed the cheeky side of her.. So grab your copy asap.. I don’t have to explain the theory of demand and supply right? If the sales is good, of course there would be more cover stories to come.. No forum to stalk, go to the nearest news stand and grab a copy then :)
Where were you last year today and where will you be next year today? Do you see yourself continuing what you are doing today or to be doing something totally different? Sometimes it may be continuing what you previously did and to discontinue what you are currently doing, but at other times, it may just be something you have never tried.
Why plan so ahead when we all live in the present and not the future or the past?
At times when we don’t remember something, we claim that we have forgotten. Other times, when we forget about them, we claim we don’t remember.
Now the question is, are the two terms interchangeable or are they different?
We don’t remember something if we have never committed it to our memory; we can only forget something only if it was ever committed to our memory, right? No?
Just a random thought, from a forgetful person.
The outright answer might be to take than to give. After all, to give is assumed to forgo something while to take is assumed to gain something.
Noticed I assumed the above?
There are people who wish they could inherit someone’s fortune, but what if you inherited someone’s debt instead?
So is receiving necessarily better than giving?
Anyone remembers Newton’s 3rd law? That there’s always an equal and opposite force acting on the original force itself?
I’m left wondering if perhaps the same logic applies to giving and in receiving? But sometimes, this equal and opposite effect doesn’t come immediately, for a dollar coin you give to that old lady today may be a dollar coin given to you when you lose your wallet some other day.
Whether or not this accounting book of ours balances, that we might never know; but it does exist, because no one can just keep on receiving without giving up something, vice versa. There must be some positive and negative sums there.
So sometimes, it’s best to give while you still could, better than being on the receiving end isn’t it?
PS: I’m just blogging for the sake of blogging. Sorry if it’s not good enough.
“For as long as you could”, “It’s not if you should, but if you shouldn’t”, “You are not obliged to”; but what about “if I want to”?
The previous post should have taught us never to super impose our thoughts on others, the likewise goes on for so called acts of selflessness. Still, it is better to be selfish because of a self-thought selfless act than to be selfish altogether.
It is the same idea as to regret what you have done than to regret what you have not done, isn’t it?
I’m losing that “touch” to blog because I have to lose the agenda to blog here. Get used to it. Any post, could be the last.
Yes, I hate people who move the snails, especially those who thought they are helping the snails by doing so.
Imagine this snail spending 5hours to reach its current point, just because it decided to spend 5minutes to turn around for a last look, you thought it was heading to that direction (to where it moved out from) and decided to give it a hand. Tadah! 5hours of hardwork gone in a minute of your time, with the snail having to work for another 5hours again.
What makes you so sure that people needs a helping hand even when no one is requesting so? This world doesn’t need a saviour, this world needs a population that can help themselves.
I’m not asking anyone to be less considerate, but the next time you wish to be considerate, shouldn’t you try to understand and find out more, before doing things that you thought would be considerate but in actual fact it’s not?

Are you guys quite sure you guys misunderstood the whole IPC thingy? It’s 3 IPCs, not 30. Why are you guys so enthu about it? Be it in organising or attending one (I think it’s not just one but two three four five?), you guys are so spontaneous that none of us (Xaby, Bee and Me) anticipated this.
I was tempted to question if you guys truly understood IPC when I realised, of course you guys did. Because only people who understood could appreciate and will participate actively in that.
IPC is not even nice on papers, but you guys made it a scheme we are so damn proud of. Thanks for understanding, for accepting and for embracing IPC. And thanks for all your participation, I hope it doesn’t stop here :)
Theoretically speaking, if I wanna be See Me Not, then I should not use that as my nick lest everyone recognises that. Yet it seems to suggest that I’m not “See Me Not” when my nick doesn’t display that.
Noticed the recent nick changing craze in forum? I believe I’m the culprit of it all. Now, am I going to change back my nick any time soon? I honestly have no answer to that. It seems to me that deep down somewhere, changing back to “See Me Not” might imply my determination to “disappear” (from the forum/msn at least), that is to say, to be truly See Me Not. For now I’m not disappearing yet, so we will leave the nick as that and see how it goes.
