Preview?

I guess one of the privileges of visiting SMN is that you get to preview pages that might one day be on the website itself. If you were wondering where the “Club” page is, it has been moved to [here].

I have intentions to expand our wallpapers collection. So notice the additional page above?

Care to explain?

Do you explain to the best you could so as to prevent any possible misunderstanding?

Or do you simply do nothing even if you foresee people misunderstanding you?

Does it makes a difference as to who the person is when you decide to explain? I believe it does, isn’t it? What for waste our time over people who doesn’t matter at all, right?

I do explain la, although I don’t like to. The difference is, I don’t explain when I’m expected or required to, defiant mah; rather I explain only when I see an absolute need to, or when I’m in a sharing mood la.. Haha.. Arbo?

What about you guys? Why do you explain and what will make you wanna explain?

Whole truth and nothing but the truth?

Back to the truth and honesty topic, question today is, is there a need to reveal the whole truth and nothing but the whole of it all?

In photography, perhaps sometimes what makes a sight pretty may not be the scene itself or just the photographer’s skills or the so-called, The Eye. Sometimes it’s a lot to do with “Framing”, to omit unimportant details or rather, ugly sights and to focus on what matters.

So is there a need to reveal the wholesome truth if partial truth suffices? Yea I have the habit of revealing everything, and then realising it made the whole truth less pretty. So what about you?

Why SG Flyer?

Q: Why do artistes like to have their birthday celebrations at SG Flyer?

A1: _______________ (Fill in your oh-so-typical TYS type of standard answers)

A2: Because they can be trapped in there for the whole 30minutes, or 3hours if the Flyer got stuck and you need to abseil down. No more “we are leaving in 10” kind of time frame.

A3: Because there’s only so much or so little space, there’s no room for hush-hush-other-agendas type of talks. Hip hip hooray!

My Conclusion? I think it is an absolutely smart move that I should KIV, right? Haha. Just for laughs :D

Me and my truthfulness.

Is it good for me to be truthful to you? I don’t know.

But I don’t think it is good when I stop being truthful to you; because that means I have given up on you.

I won’t lie to someone who doesn’t matter, simply because they are not worth it.

Similarly, I see no point to reveal the truth deliberately should you be no longer worthy of it.

If being truthful hurts, I wonder if it would hurt more should someone stop being truthful to you?

What do you guys think? I’m pretty random isn’t it?

Truth and Honesty.

Who are the ones whom you wish to be honest to?
Who are the ones whom you wish would be honest with you?

We have been told that true friends are those who are honest with us, but face it, we don’t exactly want the whole world to be honest with us.

Sometimes truth is so ugly, we are unwilling to let others know, much less to be revealed by those who ain’t close enough to be fitting of the role.

But at times, truth notified by our closer ones makes it more difficult to swallow, simply because its hurting to know it hurts them just to let you know.

Do you rather truth be revealed by someone who matters or by someone who don’t? Are you sure you are the right person to reveal the truth? Perhaps you are not?

The ugly truth that makes truth hurts; the hurting truth that makes truth ugly. Just how honest should we be?

Physics of blogging

Don’t you think that blogging is all Physics?

Well at least you need the momentum to carry on and inertia basically makes it difficult for you to continue blogging after going on a blogging hiatus.

What do you guys think?

National Day?

What does National Day means to you?

Donning red tops, hanging flags or reciting the pledge?

I’m never a NDP person, my closest involvements remained 1. the compulsory P5-er’s NDP experience, 2. when I was ran on the fields of the pre-parade back in Sec1 days and 3. when I went for the rehearsal which never gave any funpack or fired any fireworks.

Those talks about propaganda and soft deterrence, I shall skip on that. But even if you were never in that hotter-than-hot audience seat during each 9th August like myself, don’t you feel momentarily overwhelmed when the nation comes to a still each time the “Majulah Singapura” is played? The proud faces of people who probably last sang the National Anthem some decades ago?

To wear red and to sing aloud “Majulah Singapura” with thousands of red warriors, it’s a fantastic feeling isn’t it? So no wonder even if I don’t follow soccer, I like to do down to the Kallang National Stadium (as long as its not charging exorbitant fees for exhibition matches) in red to support our Lions especially in ASEAN Cup. Honestly, it feels more NDP than NDP there. After all, you do need to be part of the kallang wave to understand what is a kallang wave :)

Losing its tail wont kill the lizard, but it hurts?

So does it?

We all know that lizards can lose their tails and regrow it, but previously, I never thought that would hurt them.

I mean if something is so easily lost, it can’t be precious enough to hurt much isn’t it? And if nature designed lizards in such a way that they could escape death by losing their tail, why would it still hurt? But so as it seems, when nature designs something, they don’t give you anything extra without taking thing(s) away. So when it returned the lizards their tails, nature make them suffer the pain. It’s a gain to them, to escape death, but the pain must be incurred.

Sometimes, we ought to care more for the ones around us. Just because they can regrow their “tails” doesn’t mean it won’t hurt. Right?

Soundless clap.

Now, I have stuff to write but no energy to type.

Tomorrow, I will have the energy to type but no stuff to write.

I doubt I will remember what I wanna type, but this is life isn’t it? It takes both hands to clap, but while in your heart you wanna give your loudest clap, sometimes one of your hands has to be “unavailable”.

So you will hear a clap when both my hands are available, and when I remember to clap that is… Haha.
