You & I could have sat out,
\nBut we decided to step forth.<\/p>\n

You & I could have stayed away,
\nBut we chose to stay.<\/p>\n

And hence,
\nWe started on a journey,
\nWe would never have imagined.<\/p>\n

Sailing away,
\nWith such camaraderie,
\nI know is rare.<\/p>\n

We venture in darkness,
\nSeldom knowing what lies ahead.<\/p>\n

Still, we try.<\/p>\n

Because even if we are clueless,
\nWe trust.<\/p>\n

For we know we have each other,
\nFor friends don’t let you do silly things alone,
\nFor family<\/em> means no one gets left behind,
\nFor we are RBKD,
\nONERBKD.<\/p>\n

Resilient. Boundless. Knitted. Dedicated.<\/p>\n

Even when no one is on our side,
\nWe knew we have each other,
\nWe knew she<\/em> knew she<\/em> has us.<\/p>\n

For us, for her<\/em>,
\nThat was enough.<\/p>\n

Sometimes, people achieve the unthinkable because of friends and family who believed and stood by them.<\/p>\n

Everything that is made possible by RBKD is because we<\/em> are in this together.<\/p>\n

So as long as the ship continues to sail, we will and we can make it sail away even if we need to build it up again.<\/p>\n

It was never the easy way out we signed up for,
\nIt has, and will always be,
\nThe road less traveled,
\nThe road worth traversing.<\/p>\n

Happy 9th Anniversary, RBKD!<\/p>\n

You<\/em> have been through a lot,
\nYou<\/em> have survived it all,
\nIt’s time for our<\/em> lux et veritas.<\/p>\n

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.<\/em><\/p>\n
