RBKD: Rui En attended opera lesson to prepare herself for a scene in the upcoming drama The Journey: Our Homeland, which is set from 1960s to 1980s. When asked on what would she like to receive for her birthday, Rui En said she prefers her fans to donate the money to charity instead.

RBKD: In this 12-page cover shoot, Rui En took over as the art director and as a result, we got a glimpse of how she views the fashion-art through these styles and poses, in what she calls the most “her” shoot.

In the interview, she shared about her music taste and fashion sense, her source of influence and inspiration, and why she’s adament about not doing social media.

Rui En gave a glimpse of her two weeks’ Europe trip which she described as important as she faced periods of plateauing and how the trip served as a recharge for her. If you are curious about her take on venturing abroad, you might get your answers here too.

And if RBKD were to comment on the photos, it would be “refreshing, untypical, arty, and ‘very Rui En'”. But to be fair, this is not a fans-exclusive issue. Hence, it is actually an enjoyable read for all and there is “something for everyone” no matter what you are looking out for.

新传媒2015年新剧列表出炉，新札阿姐林慧玲明年肩扛至少五部剧，高度曝光8和U频道，备受力捧，守住目睹力压花旦瑞恩和欧萱。瑞恩和欧萱明年分别有三部和两部剧跟观众碰面。

除了时装剧，林慧玲也将在《信约：我们的家园》里，首次参与8频道年代剧。婚后的白薇秀则只有一部作品，看来事业重心逐渐转移到婚姻和电影上。

今年《红星大奖》领尽风光，一口气拿下“最佳电视剧”、“最佳女主角”、“最佳男/女配角”等四大奖项的 ，锁定原班人马。不过，今年凭《志》拿下《红星大奖》视后的陈莉萍却不会出现在续集。另外，阿哥李南星，视后黄碧仁等则会加入演出阵容。

Premieres on 5 March
Rui En stars as an optimistic kidney failure patient – Shen Chu Yi. This is her second time acting as a patient, after 2008’s By My Side.

The Journey: Our Homeland 《信约：我们的家园》
Premieres 6 July
Rui En plays a nurse – Yang Mei Xue who will later develop feelings for Zhang Jia (Shaun Chen) while caring for him and his son with Hong Ming Hui (Jeanette Aw) after Ming Hui died of labour complications.

The Dream Makers 2 《志在四方2》
Premieres on 26 November
Rui En returns as Fang Tonglin, with new character Hong Tao (Li Nanxing) as the new boss of variety department who picks on her. Huang Biren joins the cast with Chen Liping and Shaun Chen exiting the show.

RBKD: Rui En plays a straight-talking nurse in The Journey: Our Homeland which will begin filming on Jan 2, 2015. She may be roped in to do a C.L.I.F. telemovie next year, and that she will be working on a sequel to the hit drama The Dream Makers, as Fang Tonglin in the second half of 2015.
