当不成明星的赵明星（小鬼饰），另类方式当“明星”。顶下歌台经营，一众亲戚友人轮番充场登台表演。

小鬼背起咏咏（瑞恩饰）演“哑子背疯”；瑞恩女扮男装与柔柔（王心如饰）大跳印度舞……花样百出。

不过让人捧腹大笑的表演，背后有你不知道的苦。

歌台戏从早拍到晚，瑞恩累得患感冒咳咳咳不停，几乎快失声，“我不是个怎么会nap的人，但竟然累到一有时间就立刻倒头大睡。大家都很疲倦，拍歌台戏的第一天，吃完午餐后就一起关灯睡觉！”

后台小秘事

戏里的姐妹花王心如与瑞恩最怕冷，前者拍棚内戏皮衣不离身，后者古装戏服+两层夹克现身，哈，像在包粽子咯！

More than 350 lucky fans managed to gain entry into the highly subscribed “Joys of Life Cha-Chum-Bo!” party at TAB! In conjunction with Channel 8’s 30th Drama Anniversary this year, it is the first free-of-charge MediaCorp Entertains event.

Partygoers paid homage to the swingin’ 60s with colourful polkadots, and received a party pack with exclusive Joys of Life memorabilia!

Entry included 2 original Joys of Life mocktails, specially concocted by the good people of TAB!

At a photo board, fans got to pose with their favourite artistes & declare their love for the drama!

The cast came in their best 60s get-up from the drama and spoke about their experiences filming the drama.

Looking radiant in cheery yellow is lead Rui En, decked out in one of her stage costumes from the show.

The cast revealed juicy tidbits about their fellow cast members, while scene photos from the drama were shown on the LED screen.

Their laugh-a-minute tales had both themselves and the crowd bent over in laughter!

Cast members autographed posters for the fans, while the fans were entertained by Joys of Life interstitials on screen.

在《花样人间》里，王心如饰演瑞恩的妹妹。开拍前她曾经说过自己性格“三八”，应该可以融化这名冰山美人，结果真是如此吗？

王心如笑说：“瑞恩没有想象中冷，她主动和我们讲话，一起玩闹，还送巧克力和芝士蛋糕给工作人员。我和瑞恩也互送面膜，讨论哪个牌子比较好。”

在《花》里，王心如和瑞恩有多场对手戏，因此和瑞恩最有默契。“戏里很多时候我会哭倒在瑞恩的怀里，她会一直安慰我。有几场戏，我们都演得很感动，演完后会互相讨论说很有feel。我们在戏里面常讲的一句台词是：星伴月，月伴星，我们是永远不分离的好姐妹。哈哈哈！”

Joyful start for “Joys of Life”

Mediacorp latest mid-year period blockbuster drama “Joys of Life” has successfully drawn 971,000 viewers for its debut on Channel 8, according to Channel News Asia. The drama also commemorates 30 years of Mandarin drama screenings on Channel 8.

“Joys of Life” is a period drama comprising of the nostalgic feel of 60s to 70s. The story revolves around several families who live on the same street; Huaxiang Street, including some youths who dream of fame.

Rui En said she was very glad to see the positive feedback from the viewers. She said the drama is a result of the hard work put in by every member of the crew and cast as a team.

Singapore drama serial “Joys of Life” has a huge cast made up of veterans like Chen Liping, Lin Meijiao, popular stars like Rui En, Alien Huang and Cynthia Wang as well as newcomers like Romeo Tan and Adeline Lim.

The 35-part drama, which commemorates the 30th anniversary of Singapore Mandarin drama, promises to bring a lot of joy into the lives of its viewers, with its star-studded cast and intricate storyline revolving around the lives of four families living on the fictional Huaxiang Street in the 60s.

But what brings joy into the lives of the show’s cast members? Channelnewsasia.com finds out.

Dogs make Rui En smile

Rui En loves animals.

“Any dog. I am an animal lover,” said Rui En with a smile, when asked what brings joy into her life.

“Whenever I am out, or when I am filming, and I see a dog, it lights up my face.”

Unfortunately for Rui En, who plays a young woman that stays strong despite being mistreated by her foster father in “Joys of Life”, her grandmother is afraid of animals, so she can’t keep a pet dog.
