It’s not time for the police officers of Tanglin Police Division to give up their badges just yet.

Channel 8 has once again joined forces with the Singapore Police Force for “C.L.I.F. 2”.

The sequel to the hit police drama series “C.L.I.F” will however be without Singaporean actor Tay Ping Hui who had a leading role alongside Guangzhou native Qi Yu Wu.

So other than the missing lead, what’s new for “C.L.I.F. 2”?

“The big difference is that “C.L.I.F. 2″ will explore the emotional relationships between the characters more,” said Singapore-based actor Qi Yu Wu.

“But of course there is still real police work to be done to solve cases like in C.L.I.F.”

The actor added that he was “looking forward” to working with the new cast, one of whom is actress-singer Rui En.

The bubbly actress who just wrapped up filming for “Poetic Justice” is head over heels with her latest role.

“I’m looking forward to the scenes where the police conduct their operations!” said Rui En who plays a police officer.

“There’s also going to be a scene where the star team comes and they’re going to catch someone, I’m so excited about that!” she gushed.

“How they conduct the whole operation, it’s not something that many people will get to see… (unless) you’re the one being caught… then I don’t think it’s very good.”

“But you know, it’s quite a treat for me!” grinned the actress.

The self-professed “little boy” will also show her girlish charms, with her character involved with two men Chen Yan Jun (Pierre Png) and Wei Lan Tian (Li Nanxing) in the police drama.

“I’m playing a psychiatrist.” said Png who seemed just a tad disappointed that he wasn’t playing a police officer role.

“My story revolves around Li Nanxing and Rui En, so again I play a third party,” he added with a laugh.

媒体发展管理局（MDA）前天发表华文节目咨询委员报告，提到《最火2》出现童妓、轮奸和残暴死亡等“让人不安”主题。在《最火2》中饰演爆烈女警“胡小曼”的瑞恩，承认部分情节确实过于暴力，更坦言若自己有小孩也不会让他看。

《警徽天职2》昨天举行开镜仪式，瑞恩在剧中饰演女警。被问到之前的《最火2》被批暴力，瑞恩表示：“确实不适合小孩子，尤其里头有父亲猥亵的娈童情节，就很不妥，因为9点档毕竟还是family belt，如果我有小孩也不会让他看。”

提议深夜11点播映

不过，瑞恩也觉得，要如何在戏剧创作及道德尺度方面取得平衡，是很棘手的问题。她说：“很矛盾，我觉得幕后制作需要创作空间，但也了解很多家庭和小孩在看这个时段的剧集，要如何平衡两者，我真的不懂。或许电视台应该设立一个深夜11时的频道，让一些比较’挑战尺度’的剧能在那个时段播映。”

瑞恩在《警徽2》中再演女警，并与李南星继《边》后再结缘。演那么多次警察，瑞恩不会觉得闷？她笑说：“我入行第一部警察剧是《破茧而出》，我觉得以不同方式演同一行业角色，难度比演不同角色来得更大。”

瑞恩今年接连拍4部剧，曝光度是众花旦当中之首，不过她却很想放大假，每天睡到自然醒。“不过，想想我能做自己喜欢的工作，同时赚到钱，也是幸福的事啦。”

In the sequel to Ch8’s popular drama, C.L.I.F. 2 features a star-studded cast with Li Nanxing, Rui En and Joanne Peh leading the pack.

Playing Wei Lantian, the Head of Forensic Management Division in C.L.I.F. 2, Li Nanxing will be romantically-linked with Rui En in the drama. The actor let on that he is ‘looking forward to filming with Rui En.’

A contrast to Rui En’s character in Unriddle 2, the actress shared that her character in C.L.I.F. 2 will be more feminine and less aloof. Portraying Huang Zhijie who entered the police force after witnessing her sister’s abduction and death at a young age, Rui En let on that she is ‘very happy to be given a chance to try this new role.’

新剧《警徽天职2》昨天举行开镜礼，剧中演员李南星、戚玉武、瑞恩、白薇秀等都出席了开镜仪式。

自今年初播映的《最火搭档2》后，瑞恩将再度于《警徽天职2》中饰演女警角色。

在昨天的开镜礼上，瑞恩以一身女警装扮亮相，十分帅气。但这个打扮仅限于昨天，戏中的她，其实是一名便衣警察。

瑞恩表示，相较于《最火搭档2》个性刚强的女警角色，这次的角色较温和兼女性化。

此外，自《乐在双城》后，二度与白薇秀合作，两位“公主”同演一出戏，会不会担心观众拿两人作比较？

瑞恩表示，不会去想这方面的问题，会着重于做好自己的本分。

她也表示，与白薇秀再度合作，两人的相处会比初次合作更自在。

After appearing as the cold and aloof female cop in Unriddle 2, Rui En takes on another police investigator role in the upcoming C.L.I.F. 2. This will be a sequel to the popular 2011 cop drama C.L.I.F., which garnered an average viewership of 924,000 people and bagged the show of the year award.

Rui En is joined by a star-studded lineup for the second series which includes the likes of Li Nanxing, Thomas Ong, Pierre Png and Eelyn Kok. They will be joined by Joanne Peh, Qi Yuwu and Aileen Tan from the original cast.

On her new role, Rui En shared that she was happy and shocked at the same as she did not dare to harbour any thoughts of scoring another cop role again, having acted as one previously.

She also expressed in the interview with xinmsn that she was interested in the crime industry and did some research before filming for Unriddle 2.

“Really excited” to be in this show, Rui En shared that she will be acting as Huang Zhijie, a character who entered the police force after witnessing her sister’s abduction and death at a young age. She also revealed that her character will be “less aloof” and “more feminine” than her previous role in Unriddle 2.

Rui En admitted that everyone role has its “own challenge” when asked on her thoughts on taking on yet another police character. “I have to challenge myself to adapt into the new role because everyone is more familiarised with the cold Hu Xiaoman [her role in Unriddle 2]. I’m very happy to be given the chance to try.”

She also spoke of her previous working experience with MediaCorp’s Ah Ge, Li Nanxing, in On The Fringe, and shared that their characters will be romantically-linked in this drama.

Currently on a month-long break after filming for Poetic Justice wrapped, the 31-year-old is on her first long break in three years. The actress shared that she intends to rest at home during this period of time and has no vacation plans at the moment.

Commenting on the recent online voting frenzy which saw Felicia Chin’s character in Don’t Stop Believin’ overtaking her Unriddle 2 character’s top spot in the Faovurite Actress category, Rui En said, “I hope next year’s voting period will not be as long to better allow fans to concentrate on their studies. It will be better if it was shorter.”

Despite the initial disorientation I feel everytime I get a break, I’ve been catching up on my movie-watching.

Each time I watch a good movie, I get this very strange curiousity that’s so hard to articulate. A curiousity to know what happens when there is a break in the 時空。

Let me give you an example, I was rewatching Away From Her, a well-directed and well-acted movie about a man dealing with his wife’s Alzheimer’s. Eventually it got to a point where he had to place her in a nursing home where the policy was that for the first 1 month the patient couldn’t have ny visitors at all to let them get accustomed to staying there. After a few heart-wrenching scenes where the couple had to separate after not being apart for a month over the last 44 years, the husband had to leave. The next time you see him is 1 month later where he goes back to the nursing home excited to see his wife.

I kept wondering, how did he get thru the 1 month? 1 month can be a long time if you love someone deeply. Did he cry everyday? Refuse to get out of bed?

But really, isn’t life actually made up of a papier mache of all those points that normally are edited out of a movie for pacing’s sake? Rather than all the climaxes, high and low points. The strange part is some people spend their lives chasing the climaxes rather than accepting the edited-out parts.

Spoiler alert : BTW, I felt compelled to pass on the message that there will be no death in 微笑. Mainly cos I can understand not wanting to get emotionally invested in a character when you think you already know her destiny. So, no.

例如：剧组人员个个都是超级咖喱菲，走进走出扮护士扮路人都难不倒他们。就连监制袁树伟也有情客串，古董店外扮路过的旅客，结果…很抢戏的背影惹得瑞恩忍不住NG爆笑，“他很爱演咯！”

又例如：妈阁前曾诗梅、瑞恩等人走来走去，多名强国游客不约而同特地询问剧名以便回国上网观看……

瑞恩与戴阳天，戏份最多当然命最苦。

最惨的莫过于得在烈日下跑个不停、逛街聊天，扮出一脸sweet样。汗水不由自主涌出，瑞恩独门妙招竟是：用手抓起马尾透风！

一有空便一起在车上片刻补眠，现实生活中一冷一热向左走向右走的两人，难得如此有默契。

必须澄清的是，看似颇有噱头的“床上戏”，其实不过就戴阳天酒醉她扶他回房不小心跌坐在床上而已。瑞恩，依旧是那个坚持不性感不接吻的她。

8频道9点档电视剧《警徽天职》去年播出大受欢迎，以92万4000人的平均收视夺下全年收视冠军。今年卷土重来，除了白薇秀、戚玉武和陈丽贞，角色方面进行换血，少了郑斌辉和黄俊雄，加入了瑞恩、李南星、王沺裁、方展发与郭蕙雯等。

瑞恩在剧中饰演特別罪案调查组组长黄芷婕，小时候目睹姐姐被歹徒虏走杀害，对她造成心灵上的冲击，但立志要成为警察。

《警徽天职II》日前进行定装，有别于《最火搭档》胡小曼帅气冰冷的造型，黄芷婕的打扮明显比较女性化，衣服色系散发温暖。

瑞恩在接受xinmsn专访时表示，虽然演过警察，但每个角色都有自己的挑战，从来不觉得得心应手。

“因为胡小曼在很多人的印象中是比较深刻，所以我要怎么脱离那个形象，制造一个新的角色，这对我来说是非常高难度的挑战，但我很乐意接受。”

黄芷婕的故事不如胡小曼灰暗，个性更为亲切。瑞恩坦言，因为胡小曼的关系，她原以为自己之后绝对没机会接演警方的戏，没想到这次却被相中，很惊讶但也很开心。

她表示，本身对这个行业非常有兴趣，为了《最火搭档》做功课时，一直都有关注犯罪和警察范围的东西。这次能看到警察真正解决案件的过程，她’非常兴奋，有点像小孩子的心态’。

《警徽天职》拍摄严谨，注意细节，瑞恩曾看过几集，她认为可以学到东西，其实也比较放心，真正要做的功课不多，现场都会有人来教。

阿哥李南星这次饰演法证管理组队长魏蓝天，与瑞恩有感情线，两人曾在《边缘父子》合作，但那时是演朋友。

瑞恩说，上次自己演瞎子，和李南星完全没有眼神接触，所以这次比较新鲜，相当期待。她一直都很喜欢和资深艺人合作，’除了可以学到东西，整个过程也会很顺利，因为他们都很专业’。

瑞恩的电视剧一部接着一部，前年3部，去年4部，今年已播出《最火搭档2》和《花样人间》，以记者为题材的《微笑正义》正在播映中。

瑞恩说，她已经没在算拍了什么，《微笑正义》杀青后，她放了一个月的假，算是她这两三年来最长的一个假期。

她开心表示，她非常珍惜这宝贵的时间，她留在家里，什么都没有做。

粉丝投票压力大 瑞恩内疚

《红星大奖2012》结束后，新传媒在Facebook上推出《红星大奖2013》’最喜爱男女角色’å’Œ’最喜爱荧幕情侣’网络投选应用软件，鼓励粉丝们为心仪的偶像投选。

网友可以在剧集播出期间，一直到大结局后的一个星期投票，全年获得最多票数的5名艺人将角逐明年的《红星大奖》。

这个投选活动推出后，引起不少网友讨论，最近更因为陈靓瑄在《我们等你》的’杜思曼’票数激增，打败瑞恩的’胡小曼’，而引起粉丝投诉，甚至质疑陈靓瑄灌票。

被问及此投选活动，瑞恩重重地叹了一口气，前后说了3次’过意不去’。她表示感到内疚，尤其是自己戏很多，粉丝们要为各个角色投票。

瑞恩直言：’我是希望明年这个投票活动不要那么长，让我们的粉丝有时间好好读书做功课，如果是短短的，可能比较好。’

例如，《红星大奖2012》的’最喜爱’奖项投选制度，她就觉得OK。

至于接下来是否会打败’杜思曼’，瑞恩表示她无法去在乎，因为这不在她的控制范围内。

方展发在剧中饰演心理医生陈彦均，与瑞恩因为联谊认识，两人尝试交往。不过，他其实有段不为人知的过去……

方展发与瑞恩曾在《乐在双城》与《麻婆斗妇》中合作。

去年高收视剧集《警徽天职》拍续集，瑞恩将对上白薇秀。这也是瑞恩继《花样人间》、《最火搭档2》以及目前热播的《微笑正义》之后，今年第4部剧集，受电视台重用的指数，成本地的花旦之冠！

瑞恩之前在《最火搭档2》中饰演女警“胡小曼”，这次她则会在《警徽天职2》中再执枪筒，扮演特别罪案调查组组长，与白薇秀、李南星、戚玉武、王沺裁和陈丽贞等都不少对手戏。

白薇秀的剧集　收视率较逊色

纵观５位花旦今年的成绩单，新传媒自家的阿姐白薇秀今年似乎相当淡静，只有两部戏，不敌“外来阿姐”瑞恩有４部。

另外两位“外来阿姐”欧萱和刘子绚也各有两部戏的成绩。收视方面，白薇秀的《再见单人床》，收视80万1000，比其它几位花旦的剧集来得逊色。

陈靓瑄去念书　人气依然红火

离巢公主陈靓瑄虽强调学业为重，但仍对演戏眷恋不舍，间中一直参与戏剧演出，并出席各类商家活动，明星活动度不减。

陈靓瑄今年只接拍1部剧《我们等你》，虽然《我们等你》剧本牵强，全靠一票年轻演员的自然演技挽救，但《我们等你》却也成功让陈靓瑄的成绩单锦上添花。

“重质不重量”的她所主演的《我们等你》最终以91万平均收视，夺下至今9点档收视冠军，证明她人气依旧火红。
