What: Unriddle’s Event @ Settlers
When: 31st July 2010
Where: Settlers Cafe @ SMU

Xinyi, Number One:
I was the sole passenger on board the train from Dhoby Ghaut to Bras Basah, the clock flashed “6:00am” in red when I stepped out of the train.
Shortly after, a couple of others arrived too. This, despite us not agreeing to meet up beforehand. Telepathy uh?
McBreakfast was the only thing worth rejoicing when it should have been a sleep-in day. With our schooling members busy revising subjects like Economics, Geography, Biology and Mathematics, there was no hint that we were crazy fans taking the first train just for this event.
I’m not sure if this would become a RBKD’s tradition, but again we went down the queue giving out free sweets and snickers, including to non-members.
Compared to tiredness, the most unbearable thing in this event was the presence of the cameras. A cap comes in extremely handy in times like this. Trust me, I’m speaking from experience.

Celest, Number Nineteen:
This could probably be the craziest thing I have even done in my entire life, playing the online unriddle game and queuing up so many hours before the event just to be among the 1st 30 people to be up-closed with Rui En.
By participating in this event, I got to see the RBKD members for my first time as everyone were in black and also managed to get to know another new fanclub member too. However, I did not have any interaction with the rest of the RBKD members who were there and was only able to get a deeper impression of the RBKD members when I went to the SevenZeroEight event.
But above all, I would say that this is definitely an unforgettable experience for me and my dream come true as I took a photo with Rui En.

Where: Bishan Home for the Intellectually Disabled
Participant(s): Collen, Jiamin & friends, Junqi & friends, Joanne, Liz & friends, Shirley, Wyman & friend, Xinyi & friends.

Xinyi, Volunteer:
The paint vapour was unbearable, we couldn’t stop tearing.
The camera kept filming, we couldn’t stop hiding.
The end result was lovely, we couldn’t stop smiling.
That pretty much summed up the whole experience.
“If Rui En knew that you all are doing this, she would be so proud of you.”
Actually other than the research writer and producer, I didn’t let anyone else know that we were from RBKD. There’s definitely no need to. True enough, we were constantly teased by the cameraman uncle who discovered our “identity” accidentally =/

Giving the pillars an artistic touch together with the friendly Kym Ng.

Phyllis, Organiser:
Though its the first time that I am organizing an IPC, I am glad that everything was fine and I am sure all of us had fun. Despite the bad weather, our spirits weren’t dampen because we played games like heart attack and concentration! I bet the people at the shelter opposite us must be wondering why are we so hyped up! Hahaha. I am very glad that even through simple games like these we still can have fun together. Well I think because when RBKD members are together, the fun never ends :)
